Fantastic getaway from the city!
We chose Seawall Perch for our yearly Spring getaway from Dallas. We've stayed at the San Luis hotel many times, so we were very excited to find a condo in their facility. Just having the hotel, with all their activities and amenities available, was all we needed to make our decision. Seawall Perch was a great find - perfect size for two adults, although a family of 4 would find it roomy enough also. The condo location itself is perfect - right along the middle of the complex, immediately adjacent to the hotel. There is a private parking garage for the condominium side, complete with an assigned parking spot right across from the elevator doors! As other reviews mentioned, initial access to the garage and building is a bit tricky, with a few steps to figure out, especially if you've not used the Lockly Home app before. However, the Host Tricia was very responsive to our questions and we got the hang of using the fobs, phone app, and wristbands quickly. Inside, the condo decor is bright and beachy. Having 1.5 bathrooms is a plus and the master bath has a fantastic soaking tub/shower combo. Two balconies provide a wonderful view of the San Luis pool/grounds, as well as the gulf across the street. The unit has had some cosmetic updates, but needs a bit more attention to general maintenance - nothing major. Otherwise, we would highly recommend this property and would choose it again next time we're in Galveston!
