Great location in Key Colony Beach. Well stocked house with everything you could need during your stay. Exceptionally clean with beach vibe decorating. Kayaks are difficult to use with high dock in back of house.
Fantastic stay! Neat A-frame house with a great location. Our kids loved sleeping up in the loft area and the convenience to a heated pool and private beach made the experience a really good one. The kids loved it and actually was pretty relaxing for us parents too. Highly recommend!
Great location. Love Key Colony and all it has to offer. House is a little dated. Had trouble with the hot water but Pete was quick to respond. Backyard is a great place to hang.
Loved the property, location, and club. It could use a few things to help guests overall, a couple more luggage holders for the downstairs bedrooms since its lacking dressers and towel hooks next to the shower would be awesome. It didn't stop us from having a great time though!
The outdoor space was wonderfully shaded but always had a place to also sit in the sun if preferred. Lots of chairs outside and the grill was wonderful. The only down side was the indoor high table wasn’t very comfortable to play cards at in the evening. The home was very well appointed and there wasn’t a thing we needed that wasn’t there. We loved staying there.
The house was as described in the listing, with accurate photos. It was well equipped and clean. We greatly enjoyed sitting outside on the shaded patio. Beds were comfortable. Fishing from the dock wasn't great but we had better luck at Curry Hammock State Park down the road. Also caught dinner for three nights on the party boat Marathon Lady. I hope to return.
We had a great stay at Key Colony! The property is nice! It's not super fancy but it is as advertised. The back yard is nice with trees and plants and plenty of seating. The beach club was fun. It has a nice pool and beach and food and drink. We rented bikes and took a number of bikes rides on the Overseas Heritage trail. (Highly recommend!) There are a number of restaurants within walking distance and plenty of sites to see within a short drive. We would go back!!
The property worked great for our group. Perfect location, pool + beach and amenities at the Cabana Club are wonderful. The house is a little worn and lived in as others mentioned but the backyard and dock suited our needs very well.
If you’re headed to the keys, I definitely would use this property management company. They are a five star and we will not book with anybody but them. We had a great time in a super area. The hosts were exceptional and answered all our requests. It was a short walk to the Cabana Club where we enjoyed the large pool and sipping a tropical drink on the beach.. We want to thank Jane for sending us a list of local restaurants and keys ideas. It made our trip.
We w he will Be back soon
This was the perfect house for us. The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of shade in the backyard for the kids, and an easy walk to the Cabana Club. From the dock we caught plenty of fish, stone crabs with the included traps, saw manatees as well as a moray eel and lobster living in the bulkhead. There we lots of extras in the house we didn't expect like a bait freezer and fishing equipment, the crab traps, and an outdoor shower. We can't wait to stay here again.
The house was incredible. We really enjoyed the backyard. The kids caught fish and watched manatee right on the dock. We were able to get to the ocean from the dock in 10 minutes. The house had plenty of space for our family of 5. The Caaba club is a 5’minute walk. The beach, pool and bar there is very clean and convenient. We will definitely be coming back for years to come.
We had a wonderful stay. The place is super cute with a great backyard space. Plenty of sun and shade depending on your wants. Use of the pool and beach was perfect and made out days a lot of fun. We saw manatee, a big nurse shark and an eel just at the dock. We saw dolphins in the bay while kayaking as well. Super cool!
Our family of four enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is a good size for family of four. We found the beds to be comfortable and was a little skeptical due to previous reviews about uncomfortable furniture. We found the furniture to be just fine. We sleep on a firm mattress at home so actually prefer a firmer bed. We didn’t spend much time inside so no concerns from any of us about lack of comfort.
We used the kitchen a bit and while tight, it served our needs. We did find it challenging to cook using the right side front burner. Every time we tried to use it the smoke detector went off, even on lowest setting.
I didn’t realize there were no dressers in the place, other than the one in the loft bedroom. There’s no space to hang clothes due to the a-frame nature of the space. We made due stacking clothes on the shelves but worth mentioning.
We appreciated the Keurig coffee machine and little touches like frozen mugs ready for cold drinks. We always enjoy access to the Cabana Club and the Sunset Celebration at Sunset Beach.
As feedback for the owners, maybe add a few more hooks around in bathrooms and bedrooms to make up for lack of space to hang clothes in closets. Also, would have liked having hand towels in the bathrooms.
Other than that, we appreciated all of the beach towels and the plethora of board games available. Having laundry on site was also great so we could pack less.
Overall we had a really nice stay and would definitely book this space again.

Basic accommodation in a great location
We loved the area, pool & beach club and private backyard/dock. House is ok. Partially remodeled, it was a unique stay. We slept upstairs in the loft where we found the only dresser. Only clothes bar in the house has shelves directly underneath. Beds and sofa need updating for comfort. If you book, follow up with the property manager. They were confused on our arrival and didn't have the house cleaned. Not a great start after a very long drive.
My wife, her brother, and his wife just stayed at the house for a week. We had a great time in the Keys. Everything we needed was there and worked. The dock was in good shape for the boat we had rented. I would definitely stay there again.
