About this property

Nestled in acres of forest and walkable to town

Enjoy your coffee on the private back patio while watching a family of deer graze in the wooded field behind the house. This newly remodeled quiet house in the trees is still so close to town, you can walk to the shops and restaurants (or a 60 second drive). With smart TVs in every room, you can cuddle up and watch a movie after a long day at the beach, or hiking in the redwoods, both just minutes away. The views of the surrounding hills and trees are amazing from the covered patio or front deck

Large open space with lots of trees. No visible neighbors. Rooms are spacious but not huge. Kitchen is large with all the amenities.

This is an entire 3 bedroom house. All areas are accessible.

I will only contact you if necessary, but I am always available by text or call for help if needed.

We’re not really in a neighborhood. There are several other houses on our street, but none are visible from our place.

Exactly as described, even better than the photos. This is a beautiful house that is kept in excellent condition. Had a lovely, quiet stay while also being less than 5 mins from grocery stores and other local activities. Communication was impeccable with the host.

Good location, busy side road

House is clean, and comfortable, and well apppointed with amenities. We appreciated the smooth check-in process and enjoyed the scenery of the neighborhood. The traffic off the main road is busy, and the driveway is a bit steeper than we had anticipated. Overall it's a great property.

Fantastic Time

Stayed for one afternoon and night with some friends for a barbecue and good times. Inside and the backyard/patio were super open and great for cooking and hanging out!

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay- location was great(we visited Santa Cruz, Monterrey and Felton), the home was very clean and we loved the outdoor spaces. This was a great rental for our family.

We had an amazing stay. The rooms were actually bigger than expected and accommodated our party of 6 comfortably. The entire place was very clean and we were impressed with all of the kitchen amenities provided. We only stayed one night but wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the house more. I would definitely return!

Family Friendly Home

Nice full size home with all the stuff you need- plus it has AC which we needed. It was close to stores and restaurants and a short drive to Santa Cruz and Capitola. Great for families.

Great Home in Scott's Valley

I was in charge of booking a small home in Scott's Valley for a non-profit board that I serve on and lucked out with Jerry's property. The home was easy to get to, looked exactly like the listing, was extremely clean. Jerry was a welcoming host and graciously allowed us an early check in and late check out. The indoor/outdoor spaces were very appreciated by my little group. I would recommend this home!

Enjoyable stay close to Santa Cruz

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms very clean and comfortable, and they provided all the amenities we needed. We didn't utilize the outdoor space, but it looked relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked with most things you would need for preparing meals. The house was close to stores and restaurants for anything we needed. The driveway was very steep, but over time, we figured the best way to navigate the driveway to prevent hitting the bottom of our car.

Comfy roadtrip stopover

We were looking to stay in Scott’s Valley and Jerry’s place was one of the few listings in the area, so it was very convenient. Accessing the property was straightforward and the place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The patio was perfect for having meals, relaxing and enjoying nature. The wifi and tv worked great. The only problem we noticed was that the cold water gave off a sulphur odor. Also, the rain head shower was out of service but perhaps that will be fixed for future guests. I happily recommend Jerry’s place.

Perfect for us

We have family in Santa Cruz and this place suited us perfectly. It’s clean and very welcoming. The outside space is lovely and great for watching the local wildlife over a glass of wine. Jerry was great. Thank you.

Forest comfort

My friends and I felt very cozy during our stay. The home is beautiful and well organized. The outside area is lovely. The trees are amazing! Would definitely stay here again! A hot tub would make it spectacular 😉

Paradise

Jerry truly is a SUPER HOST..very accommodating. You get the best of both worlds with your stay, a beautiful house that makes you feel secluded in nature yet only a couple minutes to town. 😲WOW!!! The family’s first impression and a lasting one throughout our stay. Yes, Scotts Valley was more than the family expected. Grateful for a well equipped kitchen. Each bedroom had the comfort of home. The bathrooms had a hotel feel. Viewing the forest during morning coffee at the outdoor lanai was so delightful. While the home was more than we hoped for, the family quality time spent together in the open space living room will be memorable.
