This is our second year staying at this home, and if we have our way, it will be the only home we stay in on the island! The host truly leave no stone unturned, they think about every tiny detail for their guest.
They are extremely responsive to messages, and truly the best host we’ve ever worked with. 10 out of 10 we love this home!
We loved the house, location and our host.
All of the neighbors were very nice too.
We loved the historic charm and beauty of the home.
We stayed during Lone Star Rally celebrating our 20th year anniversary and everything worked out beautifully.
We spent most of our time downtown but it was nice to be able to take a short walk to the beach in the morning or evening. We would definitely stay again.
Suzanne was a great host and super responsive. Her home was perfect for a short weekend. Well deocrated, clean, all the necessities and more. We will definitely be back! Thank you Suzanne!
We were absolutely blown away by this house! Every detail was so thought out to ensure our stay was a breeze.
The location is amazing, literally two blocks from the sea wall, we walked there several times. There is a wagon and chairs provided by the host if needed.
The host, Suzanne, is the most responsive host I’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from! She was on top of everything without being overbearing. We have saved this property for future trips because we loved this home so much.
For the best and for us the most important part- THE BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE!! We never sleep good on vacation because beds are hard as a rock. Not here, the beds were a dream and we slept like a baby.
I would give this house, host, and location 10 stars if I could!

About the host

I am a 55 y/o Realtor from Galveston, TX. I have been happily married for 32 years. My husband and I love traveling and checking out great areas while staying in a variety of short term rentals!
Why they chose this property
We love this quiet neighborhood and its close location to EVERYTHING! A short two block walk to the beach and less than 5 minutes to the downtown area, where you will find many restaurants, entertainment and shopping, along with harbor views and adventures.
What makes this property unique
Two Blocks Inn, a historic 1913 cottage, is comfortable and classy at the same time. The historical charm and architectural features were preserved while the home was updated with today's modern amenities. Its location can't be beat!
