Family trip to Spooner

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Wooden Spoon Lodge in Spooner. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay- spacious rooms with cozy bedding, game area for the kids, a kitchen equipped for many meals, and inviting spaces for gathering for relaxation or conversation or heated euchre games! We are looking forward to planning a summer trip to Spooner!

McKenzie Cabin yearly family trip

Beautiful cabin. Would be perfect for a winter getaway. Had that warm feeling. We had 3 children under the age of 4 with. Lots of steps and danger so might recommend for families with children no younger than 5. Very clean and Great Lake view. Of course the hot tube was the largest hit!

Had fun

We enjoyed our stay. Because we are all older adults, we wished there was a bathroom downstairs. Also, a handrail going up both sets of stairs. Otherwise, we had a nice time and had plenty of room to socialize and play games. Thanks for the nice stay.
