About this property

Snuggler's Cove-Townhouse w/ Beach Access & Kayaks

Welcome to your Bay View getaway! This charming townhouse unit is perched on the edge of the Puget Sound, offering beautiful views of the water! With beach access just a short walk away and kayaks available for guest use, you'll have everything you need for a relaxing and adventurous vacation! Location is prime for exploring in any direction from easy access to Seattle Ferries, Military Bases, Hood Canal, and Olympic National Forest.

The Snuggler's Cove is a cozy, Pacific Northwest Themed townhouse unit sitting perched above the Liberty Bay Inlet surrounded by forest space. As you approach the property, you will head down the hillside driveway to enter the Illahee Manor Estate, a 5 acre property with five homes on it. Enjoy exploring the 5 acre property full of unique scenery, wildlife, and a small fruit tree orchard. Walk down the short hillside path to the waterfront and enjoy a waterfront camp fire or a kayak trip around the calm inlet waters! Two kayaks and one stand-up paddle board provided for guest use.

The main level of the townhouse features one bedroom holding a bunk bed with a full bed on bottom and twin on top and half bathroom. The dining room space is tastefully furnished and designed to maximize the views of the water. In the living room, relax on the comfortable sofa and enjoy a movie, or curl up with a good book next to the electric fireplace. When it's time to call it a night, the sofa pulls out into a queen bed sleeping two guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal, including a full-sized refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and all common cooking essentials.

Upstairs you will find a loft style bedroom holding a Queen bed, closet space, washer and dryer and attached bathroom. The upstairs bathroom features a two-person jetted soaking tub and shower (this is the only shower.) In the upstairs closet, you will find a queen air mattress and provided linens to sleep two guests. Please note - the upstairs bedroom does have low ceilings in some areas, please consider if this will be troublesome for anyone in your group.

The real magic of this townhouse is outside. Step out onto the balcony and take in the fresh air as you overlook the views of the Puget Sound. When you're ready to hit the beach, just walk down the pathway to the property's beach access where multiple kayaks and a paddle board are provided for guest's use.

This property's location is central for exploring in any direction! Less than 30 minutes to Poulsbo, Kingston, Port Orchard, Tacoma, Seattle Ferry. One hour drive to the Hood Canal, Olympic Forrest, SeaTac airport, and so much more!

Guests are welcome to explore the full 5 acre property including a fruit tree orchard, fountain courtyard, and pathway leading to the beach with the firepit, kayak, and paddle board access. However, please be respectful of other guest's spaces and follow outdoor quiet hours between 10pm-8am.

Great stay and central location.

Loved the unit, the view and it was central to all the things we wanted to do. Convenient to Seattle, Olympic National Park and many of the islands and communities we wanted to visit.

Smuggler’s Cove was stunning

We loved our stay at Snuggler’s Cove. The majestic water views and wooded landscape made us feel as if we were in a secluded mountain cabin. The accommodations were lovely comfortable and still had a rustic touch. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was available.

Four night stay

Loved the place. I would stay there again. But my senior sister-in-law had difficulty navigating the stairs to the second floor where the shower was. Thanks for a sweet spot near the water. The sunrises and sets were of course amazing. Nice, quiet neighborhood.

Great stay!

We LOVED this vrbo. We’ve been to several and this one was just perfect. From the cleanliness of the house to the views on the deck! Our entire family felt right at home immediately. Our favorite things were the quiet area, the view, the kayaks that we could take out, and the board games! Would stay again, would recommend to friends!

Beautiful home

I loved everything about this place. The view and being close to the water/beach was really nice. There was plenty of room for myself, my son and my 3 grandkids. Check in was easy (I arrived early and was allowed to check in an hour early). I would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin!

Our group had a great time at this property! The communication with the host was easy and clear. The cabin is comfortable for a group of 5-6 people, and the kitchen is well equipped. Access to the water was a short (and steep) 5-7min walk. Overall we had a great stay :)

Family summer trip

We stayed in this VRBO while on a summer vacation trip, and to see family in the area. The home was very clean and well stocked upon arrival. On a clear day, we could see the top of Mt. Rainier in the distance past Bainbridge Island. The location was great for us, as it was close to grocery stores and ferry terminals to travel to Seattle. The location was also very peaceful, with little to no road noise. We really enjoyed our time there.
