Disappointing
Let me preface this by saying I am not generally one who writes a lot of reviews and I'm not very picky. I also don't usually take the time to write a review. This house is in a little working class neighborhood full of moderately maintained little post-WW2 Cape Code houses. Despite paying $1K for 3 nights, we were required to take out the trash and strip the bedding for the "housekeepers" who have no attention to detail. The ducts were obviously full of junk, the stove was dirty/greasy with at least one burner that didn't work and the grates on top...at least I could not get them to sit level. The ceiling fan above the bed downstairs was super dusty.
Seems like nobody has left any stuff in the cabinet, there was only salt, and many VRBO houses have a lot of dry goods people have left there to make it cook. I left some a couple things for people to use.
I just had a kind of icky feeling the whole time I was there. It seems like the owners bought this house and maybe tried to update it but everything was done in a very amateur fashion and cheaply done. I wouldn't live in or hang out in a neighborhood or house like that, and I definitely don't want to stay in one while traveling. The photos were a lot nicer than the place was in person.
One other thing is that it's on a cul-de-sac with no nearby street parking (at least when I was there) but the driveway is very narrow. I was driving a medium sized SUV and had to stick out into the street to be able to open the doors.
