Just past Moonshine Ridge, 5 miles from the Parkway, in the Pigeon Forge Smoky Mountains is a delightful private two bedroom log cabin with wooded views named Once Upon A Time. This adorable secluded cabin is ideal for an unforgettable honeymoon, a small family vacation retreat or a romantic getaway.

The feeling of seclusion is prevalent as you climb the 5 steps to the porch of the Once Upon A Time log cabin and when you step onto the front porch you feel the release from the stresses and cares of life as you step back into time and a simpler way of life.

Sleeping Arrangements

The front door opens into the upper level and the bedroom where a king-size log bed with a canopy of sheers draped around the top - perfect for a great night of rest and relaxation. The TV in the bedroom will be perfect to watch while reclining in your king-size bed. Check out the living area below where windows to the eve of the house give an open and airy feel to the cabin and there is a playful cub skin draped over the log railing.

There is a luxurious Jacuzzi whirlpool tub is in the corner of the bedroom. In here the old used windows add to the aura of the simple life and the full bathroom on this level of the Once Upon A Time cabin has a tub.

There is also a second full bathroom is located on this floor.

Inside Once Upon A Time

Descend the log staircase to the living area of the log cabin where an attractive corner rock and brick fireplace has a rough log mantel giving it a rustic flavor. The TV is mounted above the fireplace so that you can watch the TV and enjoy gazing into the flickering ambers at the same time.

For entertainment here in the cabin you can challenge your special someone to a game of billiards on the pool table. Here you can play endless hours of pool - no quarters needed! Large windows provide great views of the ridges and woods in the Smoky Mountains.

There is also a game room with Pacman arcade game complete with a flat screen TV with gaming hookups - so bring the games and enjoy the lower level game room!

The Once Upon A Time cabin has a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The rustic barn door cabinets and old window frame add to the country flavor; the efficiency of the kitchen is anything but rustic because it has all the modern conveniences: a microwave, blender, coffeemaker, toaster, and dishwasher.

Love this cabin!

My family and I have visited this cabin 2 years in a row now and always have the best time! It is always clean and cozy. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. We hope to be able to stay there again next year when we visit.

Anniversary weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived after dark, a little more lighting would have been nice. Or be able to change the time for check in. 5 pm in the winter months is usually dark or getting dark. But overall clean and comfortable. Close to everything we wanted to do. Thank you!!!!

Lovely stay!

We had a great time staying in Once Upon a Time! The cabin was beautiful and clean and we loved the seclusion. A bear came on the back porch 2 different days which was a neat suprise. The manager was friendly and very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great Time!

Fantastic cabin! Just as displayed. Quiet location with the Chipmunks, Bald Eagle, and a big bear walking through the yard and up the road! Very cozy spot to spend time.

Great Cabin Experience!

my mom and I really enjoyed staying in this cabin in the pigeon Forge area! We brought my baby, too and it worked out well. It's in a beautiful wooded area, close to a road. The check in process and check out process were really easy and the host communicates well. It was really clean, too. The only thing that we weren't prepared for was that there was no dish soap or hand soap (only shower soap) at the location- so bring those if you are planning your trip. Additionally, since you are in the woods, you can sometimes hear creatures at night, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I would definitely come back!

Great location

Check-in was super easy and Meagan and her team were attentive to any questions we had. It's quite a climb to get up to the property (4-wheel drive was a necessity), but the location was excellent. It truly felt secluded which was great. Place could use a little cleaning, but overall we were happy with the stay.

Beautiful cabin!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. It was very clean and provided basic essentials we needed. It was nice to relax in the hot tub after exploring Pigeon Forge all day. We would love to have this cabin again when we visit next year.

Secluded cabin with a gorgeous view!

Our stay was fantastic! Just a couple minutes from town, how’s the beds were hard as a rock and very uncomfortable to the point we slept on the couch, if we were staying longer we were going to go buy a blow up mattress. Otherwise everything else was 5 stars!

Cabin in Woods

Nice cabin in the woods. This is the place to stay if it’s just a husband and wife getaway. The cabin has no neighbors able to see you sitting on the back deck. The master is a loft so it’s open to the living room and you enter the cabin through the master bedroom. Could use a little TLC but otherwise a nice cabin to stay in.

Would book again.

Very nice little cabin. I wanted to stay away from everyone else and this place did not disappoint. Close to town and easy to get to. Will definitely be coming back. We did have one minor hiccup but it was addressed promptly and the owner was very good to work with. 10/10 recommend

Close to town but secluded and peaceful

We loved this property. It was a short drive into Pigeon Forge. A few things you should know… The main door walks right into the upstairs bedroom next to the bed. Also the road to the drive way is stone and then the drive way up the mountain is paved but has a sharp turn and is very steep. 4wheel drive was necessary. I would definitely stay here again. Location was perfect and the house was great. If you are looking to save on parking use the trolly! We drove into PF and park for free at a trolly stop.

Beautiful cozy cabin

The cabin was clean and super cozy. This was a girls trip with 3 of us. 2 of us shares the king and one stayed in the room downstairs. The layout definitely threw me off at first but waking up to those beautiful windows and nature was exactly what we wanted. Honestly the only thing I would have to complain about is the 2 can openers not working lol and the hot tub jets aren't very strong but just sitting out in the hot tub with no jets was fine with us. It was nice and hot. I would definitely come back.

Sevierville cabin

Great location! 5 minutes from parkway strip where all attractions are but deep enough in the woods to feel secluded. Steep one way driveway so beware if you are taking a car, would probably need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. 2 bedrooms and 1 is a loft bedroom with no curtains so put the early riser in that room. The cabin has essentials so we didn't really need to bring anything besides toothpaste and toothbrushes( dish soap, scrubber, hand soap, small shapoo/ conditioner) Hot tub was nice and relaxing and clean. Wifi was nice so we could still stay connected to family back home. Overall really nice place to stay. Thanks again

Why they chose this property

We love this area of the country. The rolling mountains, beautiful scenery, and the time to just relax and unwind without having to worry about neighbors next door while being close to attractions, grocery stores, and Dollywood! This cabin is perfect for small families, honeymooners, or anniversary celebrations.

What makes this property unique

We love this property because it is secluded and very private. When the town is growing so rapidly, it's difficult to find this much privacy in a nice cabin that is so close to the Parkway.
