This spacious and unique 3rd-floor apartment is in the heart of historic downtown Darien. Surrounded by local shops, including a cafe on the first floor with a wonderful breakfast & lunch menu, a fabulous wine bar across the street, and several riverfront restaurants only steps away, The Darien River Loft will place you in the center of everything this charming town has to offer! The river can be seen from the front balcony, and a public boat ramp is just down the hill.

Natural light is abundant throughout the apartment, with plenty of windows to enjoy the scenery. The large, full kitchen is well-equipped for all of your cooking needs, and the spacious living room is both comfortable and functional.

Fantastic location in quaint Darien, GA

My boyfriend and I enjoy relaxing weekends on the Georgia coast and decided to attend the Blessing of the Fleet festival in Darien. We chose Jarami’s River Loft for its location near the event and because the photos were inviting. I can safely say that Jarami’s loft is even more attractive than the depiction online. Very spacious and comfortable. Will definitely return.

The Army dropped me off in coastal Georgia in 2007 and I never left. For many years Darien was just a place I loved to visit, but now I am grateful to call it home. This is my first experience hosting a vacation rental... I am very excited (and nervous)!

I hope you fall in love with this town as much I have—there are no other places left like it.

Why they chose this property

I recently purchased this property to have a larger foothold in the town, and I hope to be a positive force for the community. There is so much excitement in Darien right now! People are beginning to notice what a gem this historic town is. The location of The Darien River Loft offers a glimpse into everything Darien has to offer. River life at its finest!

What makes this property unique

If you enjoy history, Darien is for you. The town was settled by Scottish Highlanders in 1736 and is the second oldest planned city in Georgia (next to Savannah). A pre-Revolutionary War fortification built in 1721, Fort King George, is just a short drive down the road. The area is covered in the tabby ruins of old warehouses and taverns. Islands dot the mainland. Both river and deepwater fishing charters are available every day of the week. Darien has a shrimping fleet that brings in some of the best shrimp you will ever eat.
