The Purple Martin Inn Offers Artsy, Boutique Style Luxury! Our guestrooms are beautifully furnished with eclectic, furnishings and each room has a personality all its own. This room is on the second floor with stair access only, it shares a living room, dining room, and kitchen with one other guest room and the owners. There is one separate shared shower room and one separate shared bathroom for the two guest rooms, which are cleaned multiple times throughout the day. The Purple Martin Inn also offers sensational views of Lake Huron, including sunrises and sunsets. It is quaintly nestled in the quiet community of Rogers City with pristine shorelines, boutique shops, memorable people and the northern Michigan as by gone.

Not as advertised and bereavement consideration

When I booked this property, the description said "private bathroom" for each bedroom. When we were outside of the cancellation window, I received a communication from the host, stating that we had a SHARED bathroom with other guests. We would not have booked this property if we knew we had to share a bathroom. However, we went forward with our stay (because we were outside of the cancelation window and decided to just roll with it)... within 3 hours of arriving, I found out that my father died unexpectedly and we had to turn around and drive 4.5 hours home. It was a HORRIBLE day. I asked for a bereavement consideration so we could get refunded for our stay and the host said no... no exceptions. I was very disappointed... I don't know what my options are at this point??
