Sharkey Mountain Lodge is a gorgeous 6 bedroom, 4 bath home with a hot tub sitting on 6 acres that backs up to the National forest. Beautiful décor and furnishings, and all the amenities you might need to feel at home. Seasonal river in front of the property and you can walk out the back gate to the National forest. Located one mile from the Forest Service Road 120 ATV/UTV entrance.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day you can enjoy watching live horse racing at the Ruidoso Downs Race Track conveniently located 9.9 miles away. The Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino is 11.2 miles away where you can enjoy gaming, golf, fishing, concerts, and family events. Ski Apache (17.6 miles away) allows for hiking, ziplining, skiing and snowboarding, with 11 lifts including New Mexico’s only passenger Gondola to the top. The winter months offer a chance to take the kids tubing at Ruidoso Winter Park (5.8 miles away). No matter when you plan your trip, there’s something for everyone.

The game room includes a pool table, foosball table & basketball shot game. Enjoy a game of poker with your family or friends, the table also converts to a bumper pool table, with a motorcycle theme bar and tv in the room. Theatre room with 85" tv with theatre seating.
Workout Room with multi station fitness center, elliptical bicycle, dumbbells' set with bench and yoga mat & ball. Enjoy an evening on the 2nd story deck around the firepit. **There are 3 propane tanks on site-- It is the renters responsibility to refill tanks if needed/used.**
Two security cameras are on the property-- located on the front of the house and on the back of the house. ****It is recommended to not turn the air conditioning units below 68 degrees to keep the units from freezing as recommended by HVAC companies in Ruidoso (due to the elevation)****

The best find in Ruidoso!

We were so excited to find a cabin comparable to the one our family owned and loved for many years. We wanted to continue the tradition of spending Easter in the quaint town of Ruidoso. The oldest in our group is now in college, but we weren’t ready to let go of the tradition just yet after our cabin burned down. The rooms, location, and wonderful communication with the property manager made this day perfect in every way! We had fun enjoying the thematic rooms, hot-tubbing during the snowfall, and playing pool, basketball, and foosball. Overall, this is a very wonderful place!

It is great quite location with a lot of room to chillout.

The home theater is great and a fun place to relax an watch movies at night. The only miner draw back is it is a bit of a drive to a trash can to dispose of your trash.

This home makes your stay in Ruidoso outstanding. The property is beautifully tucked away but you are still only 15 minutes from Walmart. The rooms are perfect for adults and kids! The communication with the management company/owner was wonderful. They were very communicative and responsive. We will definitely be back!

We loved this home! There is so much to do there for all ages that we never left. Our children were asking if we could stay here again and we definitely will if we plan another family trip to Ruidoso.

Maturino vacation

This house was absolutely beautiful. We spent almost all our time here, there was so much for our grandkids to do, pool, games, basketball game, hot tub, movie theater, exercise room and poker table for the adults! I would recommend this house to everyone looking for a getaway! Thank you Jessica!

Beautiful Lodge

I booked this lodge for the weekend for me and my family and we were not disappointed! Check in was very easy and just entering this place is awesome. There is room for all to have their own space and comfort especially the beds WOW! We cooked breakfast and had plenty of pans and utensils to get the job done. My family enjoyed the game room and had a relaxing time in the hot tub. My son used the grill and cooked us steaks and chicken but he barely had enough propane to finish our dinner. We didn't have enough bath towels for everyone but I contacted Jessica and she had someone deliver us plenty of bath towels that same night. We ran out of paper towels in the kitchen and needed aluminun foil so we bought some supplies we needed and a plastic strainer and big pot. If you use that in the kitchen take extra and toilet paper. We had a fabulous time at the Sharkey Lodge plenty to keep us happy and comfortable.

Christmas family vacation

Perfect stay for family , spacious, very clean plenty of rooms and bathrooms . The owner responded quickly to our needs . The location is minutes away from town shops , and grocery stores . I would highly recommend for big families and most importantly plenty of games to entertain the kiddos .

We enjoyed the place very much, it was very nice and spacious! The only thing we didn't have access to was the jacuzzi because it was locked. Oh and we recommend a different scent spray because it smelled a bit like "Raid".

A little something for everyone

This was the perfect house for our family get together. Upstairs has two bedrooms and a theater area, game room, and workout room. Having this separate area helped to allow everyone to have their own space as needed. The deck was spacious and had comfortable seating with two heat sources. The hot tub was fantastic! The kitchen was large enough that 2 families at a time cooked and cleaned together without getting in each others way. Downstairs master bedroom was a dream and an additional bedroom downstairs had its own bathroom …. Remaining bathrooms were shared which worked out fine. Had deer wander through the yard and it was just a short drive to downtown. The host was very communicative and quick to respond. We would definitely book another stay. As a side note…. The can openers provided don’t work so make sure you bring your own if you need that!

Girls Trip

11 of my closest friends got together for a special weekend. This house was perfect for this large group. Everyone had a bed. The common area was perfect and comfortable. The outdoor seating with fire pits and jacuzzi were a highlight. I would highly recommend this property. I also hope to stay here again.

The pictures don’t do it justice! The exterior aesthetics lends itself to questionable luxury but the inside is completely redone and gorgeous! This house would be fantastic for a family get together. It is in a fairly secluded area and is very quiet. The only reason I didn’t give the location a 5 is that the view is lacking but it was still beautiful and quiet. The pictures also don’t highlight the upstairs entertainment amenities. They have a private gym that is extremely nice. There is a huge entertainment area with a pool table, foosball, a basketball game, and an incredible movie area. Also the hot tub under the stars was peaceful and beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and quick to respond to questions. This place is a must for a larger group!

I will start off with a breath taking view, beautiful house more like a mansion.. we loved the balcony plenty of space for whatever you want to do.... Amazing Home

From the moment we drove up to the house at the beginning of our vacation, to the last minute we locked the door on our way out, it was amazing! This is one of the most beautiful homes in Ruidoso. Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The different levels allow for the early birds to go to bed while the late night youngsters stayed up, played games, hung out in the hot tub or watched movies until all hours of the morning. We especially enjoyed having our coffee on the beautiful deck while the Humming Birds buzzed around. The wildlife was incredible. I highly recommend this home!
