We loved staying here. A nice central place for the beautiful northern Wisconsin woods. Great decor with plenty of space. Only downside was the mattresses weren’t as comfortable as we’d like them to be.
This was the perfect house for our trip to Cable for a race at Mt Telemark Village. The house was very clean and well stocked. The decor was very cute. Our boys loved the kids room and the Pac-man game. The best part was being only minutes away from the race location.
We recently stayed at this lovely house with a group of five adults, and it was a fantastic experience. The homey decor made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring everyone got a great night's sleep. We particularly enjoyed the isolated location, which offered a peaceful and quiet retreat.
The property had many great amenities, although we wished we could have taken advantage of the fire ring and outdoor grill. They would have made for a perfect evening under the stars. One area of improvement would be adding a few more lamps in the living room for better lighting, especially during the evenings. Additionally, while the Keurig was convenient, we would have preferred a traditional coffee pot for brewing larger quantities.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a cozy and secluded getaway.
We really enjoyed our stay there. The property is very well kept and clean with all the amenities you need. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the Cable area.
We were traveling with 4 kids ranging from 2-17 for a Nica mountain bike race at mount Telemark. This property was so close to the venue that we were able to go back and lay down the two littles for their afternoon nap and allowing our teens to cheer their friends. I would definitely book this property again next time we are I. The area. The house is nicely updated and has all the general necessities. Plenty of space for our family of 6. We talked about sharing this property with another family next year for the race. Three bedrooms one room with two bunk beds and a pull out couch in the living room makes this property a great option for larger groups. The pac man arcade game is also a fun extra perk.
We had a wonderful stay, very clean, owners checked in with us, close to the trails. We had a great time!!!

We discovered that we both have separate, distinct and wonderful memories of the Cable, WI area from before we became a couple. We've dreamed of owning a place of our own in the area. Her for the peaceful woods, the scenery and the north woods lifestyle. Him for the mountain biking, the XC skiing and riding on the wooded paved and gravel roads. Now we want to share our experience with the rest of the world. Everything we have is a gift, and gifts are meant to be shared!
Why they chose this property
2 miles from downtown Cable.
1 mile to the Birkie trailhead.
1 block from Telemark Road, the gateway to the CAMBA Trail system (a true Single Track mecca)and miles and miles of gravel roads, ATV trails and more.
1 block from snowmobile state trail access (trail 15).
We are in the middle of it all!
What makes this property unique
We are silent sport trail users and we'll cater to trail users of all shapes and sizes. Our decor is bike and skiing oriented. We've outfitted the 'kids' room to be fun and memorable (who doesn't like Pac-Man, right?) We'll soon have our place outfitted with a ski wax table, bike wash station and repair stand, boot/glove/helmet dryer, too.
