About this property
ORV/ATV/4x4 access only. REMOTE. Camping in a cabin. RUSTIC.
Test your preparedness skills. Perfect for the OFF-ROAD ENTHUSIAST. Cute and cozy private cabin on 40-acres with beds, a wood burning stove, ORV/ATV trails at the end of driveway, and star-filled skies on cloudless nights. THIS IS RUSTIC and REMOTE. Bring your GPS. Modern day creature comforts are limited. NO hot water (although there is a well). NO bathroom (although there is an outhouse). NO cellular guaranteed (although AT&T signal found), NO internet, NO WI-FI, NO cable TV. NO cooking stove (although there is a fire pit). NO Air-Conditioning (just windows). NO washing-machine or clothes-dryer. All laundry is hauled to town 25+ miles away. NO firearms are permitted to be discharged. ORV/ATV is very highly recommended, although property has been accessed via 4-WHEEL DRIVE with HIGH GROUND clearance. Picture of muddy road with large puddles is 5-mile driveway on best of conditions. Wild animals can be found on property. This area “is” known as the moose capital of Michigan. Bear, wolves, and mountain lion have been cited in the area. The nearest gas station and hospital are approximately 25+ miles away (over 40 minutes in ideal conditions). MAKE SURE you have a full tank of gas before departing for the cabin. Maximum number of three (3) occupants (including guests). No parties or events allowed. While it takes time to get here, time perceives to stop once here. Bring your own supplies and happiness! PACK-IN/PACK-OUT. Only roof, beds, wood burning stove, wood, and outhouse will be provided. BOW HUNTERS WITH TAGS WILL BE WELCOME. Repeat guests that treat the place good will be privileged. ~20 miles north of Newberry, MI. Deer Park Beach on Lake Superior is ~12 miles northwest. Tahquamenon Falls are ~14 miles east. Local sports places (~25 miles away) rent ORV’s by the day. Thanks for considering!!
