We had a great time at this cabin for our Anniversary. The owner was very responsive, and the cabin was great. The hiking right behind the cabin was an extra bonus!
We enjoyed this cabin very much. It is private and had anything you could think of to cook. The cabin was clean and close to all the local hiking trails. The hot tub was just what we needed after long days of hiking. Steve even called to make sure we received the check in instructions, which is a personal detail we appreciated. Highly recommend and we will stay here again in the future
It was perfect, had a lovely stay, it was nice the owner got a hold of you to make sure everything is good and you’d get there good. I never had any other cabin owner do that. I definitely would go back
My wife and I stayed 2 days with our dogs. Great property if you’re bringing pets, as it’s very secluded. Fantastic view. We took a short walk around the property with our critters, which was awesome, being close to the cabin. Great deck with hot tub, and a fire pit with lots of seating just a few steps away. If you like to cook, this is the place! Every appliance/utensil you could imagine! Very close to a lot of the trails as well. Owner contacted us upon arrival to make sure everything was perfect for us. Highly recommend !
This was such a nice property! Close to the hiking trails and fully equipped with everything we needed. The owner was quick to answer questions and provide info. We will definitely be back!
We liked our stay. The host thought of everything. No need to bring anything other than clothes and food. The back porch was relaxing and walking through the woods was nice too! One of the bathroom lights was flickering. But we had a nice time relaxing!
Only major complaint was yesterday. The lawn care service was there and we had to go inside cause they were cutting grass and trimming. The other thing we didn’t like was one of the residents that must live down the road had their dogs loose and they followed us or got
On the cabin’s property. Australian Shepard dogs two
Of them. One of them growled at us. And ran after our car.
Location for easy access to State parks - perfect.
Inside, the cabin is awesome. Clean and stocked with everything you need. But … Hocking Hills is about being outside and the deck/backyard is the reason to stay here.
On the deck, there is a clean hot tub, Blackstone, Weber, and plenty of seating on a secluded, private lot. The backyard includes a fire pit with plenty of seating. The gem here is a cooking grate that you can rotate over the fire! The back yard also includes a “bonus” bar. It would be awesome if the inside of the bar was cleaned out so that someone could bartend, but we enjoyed sitting at the bar after a day of hiking.
The cabin is pet friendly, and for older pets, there is a ramp on the front door and only a couple steps up the back deck.
We would unquestionably stay here again.
Easy to find, plenty of amenities, very clean, love the back porch with jacuzzi, beds very comfortable. We had a fantastic time, looking to book again.
This cabin slept 5 comfortably. We enjoyed the large backyard and fire pit. The kids loved the hot tub and loft area. We also loved that the kitchen had just about anything you could think of. It was also very clean.
Property was a described. Well-equipped kitchen, clean hot tub. AC worked fine in the 90°F heat. Cabin is private but we could hear kids at the neighboring rental. It's on a very low traffic road, only a handful of rentals on a dead-end street. The back porch was nice for sitting outside and relaxing. It was close to many of the popular parks. Chore list wasn't too extensive. I'd consider another stay.
We enjoyed our stay. I will mention that if you are a person who likes a clean towel for every shower, make sure to bring some. We had a total of five towels for two nights/three days for five people.
This small cabin is well equipped to make meals. Very clean. Only issue was the stairs to the upper level are a bit scary. The handrail didn't extend allrhe way.
This place is perfect. Everything was exactly as described online. So very clean, anything you need to prepare food, supplies like TP and paper towels were plentiful. The hot tub, the fire pit, the deck lights...I could go on and on! Beds were comfortable. Furniture in the living room was as well.
