We booked three nights at Andy’s Inn. What’s a great little find this was. We arrived and Judith gave us a smooth check-in. Patricia then escorted us to our apartment which was beyond spotless it was absolutely immaculate with every amenity available available.Unfortunately, that night when we went to bed the bed was creaking loudly every time we moved, it kept us awake all night. I reported this in the morning to Patricia, she was totally apologetic and said she would deal with it immediately. We went out for the day and came back to find a note on our bed to tell us the issue was now resolved. We had the most fantastic sleep that night and the following night.Thank you ladies for your warm welcome and hospitable approach. I would highly recommend Andy’s Inn for your visit to the Cayman Islands.
Clean, comfortable, and convenient on the beach in Bodden Town
We (husband and I) had a lovely, relaxing nine day stay in Andy's Inn 2Bamboo Studio - really a one bedroom apartment. All was sparkling clean, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals, and the chairs and dining table on the private patio were just what we needed. The beach across the street was lovely and uncrowded (practically private) with lounge chairs and a shower and private restroom. Walking distance to the Grape Tree Cafe for yummy take out meals. Easy parking and a short drive to grocery stores. Spotts Beach and Smith's Cove are maybe a twenty minute drive for good snorkeling. Be aware that the road out front can be busy and somewhat noisy at certain times, but the traffic noise is not noticeable in the apartment or at the beach. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you, Judith and Maria.
The unit was sparkling clean. We appreciate the abundance of towels. Kitchen had almost everything we needed. Some more glasses and silverware would be helpful. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Gorgeous beach. Rest end the best, lots to do and rest and much less traffic helpfulhemlockactorsacrossOn
We loved our time in the bamboo suite. It has a kitchenette that's fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, freezer, fridge, stove, and microwave, making it easy to cook. There is a lovely outdoor patio where we sat and ate our breakfast each morning. Washer, dryer, and walk-in closet too. Great air conditioning. The Bodden Town beach is a five-minute walk. Grocery store (McRuss) is a two-minute drive. This was all such a tremendous value compared to an expensive hotel or condo on Seven Mile Beach, and it only takes 20 minutes to drive there from Andy's anyway. Definitely would stay here again. Also, look for the book "Cayman Resident" in the suite. It's packed with things to do, including some that we did not see online before coming here. Thank you Judith!
This is great location for relaxed travelers and it gets you away from the hustle and bustle in Georgetown. We loved this spot. Judith is great and everyone is so friendly in Bodden Town. The beach across the street has amazing snorkeling, just go on the less windy days. If you want to cook at home stop in Savannah and shop at Fosters grocery before you check in. There are nice places to eat nearby. We enjoyed eating at Tukka (driving distance) the Czech Inn Grill (10 minute walk) and the Grape Tree Cafe on your beach.
We enjoyed visiting Barefoot beach, eden rock, Starfish beach, Spotts beach and Colliers beach. We did a trip to Stingray City with two snorkel stops with Captain Marvins. Amazing trip!
Although I didn’t end up staying the the room a ton besides to sleep I loved it and the location, i got to see the home I love once again and if I do come back I’ll be sure to stay again and possibly for longer, thank you for allowing me to come back to the home I love once again everyone
Very nice and attentive host and hostess. Judith responded to any need we had. Easy drive to all areas of the island. Clean and comfortable lodging. Highly recommend.
Cute little place, right across from the beach. Need car. Easy drive to East coast, rum point and botanical gardens. Studio is actually small 1 bedroom. Judith is super nice, very responsive and helpful. Beach is not crowded at all. There are a few beach chairs you can use.
We enjoyed our stay at Andy's Inn. The location is close to a shopping center, southern beaches, and great restaurants. The property is well-lit with off-street parking. The condo had all of the amenities we were looking for, and was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a low-key stay.
We absolutely loved our apartment and location. We had everything we needed to enjoy a home like stay in a quieter area. A comfortable bed, huge shower, private outdoor veranda with table, chairs and a huge hammock. Great places to eat nearby, a stunning beach minutes from our door, and all the amenities if we chose to cook rather than go out. We rented a car and explored the entire island, end to end. Andy’s Inn in Bodden Town was just perfect.
The host was extremely responsive and helpful before and during my stay. She also gave recommendations that were helpful.
Check-in process was very easy. There is ample parking if you rent a car. If you choose not to rent a car, the public bus stop is walking distance and can you take nearly anywhere you need to go.
The unit was very clean and had extra linens, including a beach towel. The wifi was great. I could even connect from the parking lot. The beach across the street is very relaxing. It's the only beach I was on that I could be by myself no matter what time of day.
The location is one of the things I enjoyed most. It's rougly in the middle of the west and east end of the island. To the west is where most tourist stay. It's a lot more expensive and busy. I did visit that area but I like staying in a more peaceful area. I was also able to meet more local people which made my experience even better.
The botanical gardens, crystal caves, parrot sanctuary, and other places are closer to bodden town then seven mile beach or Georgetown. Also, there are a lot of restaurants that locals but not tourists frequent. Everyone I encountered was very friendly.
The outside dining and hammock area was also very nice. I went out there frequently early in the morning or later in the evening when I wanted to enjoy the weather and solitude.
If I visit Grand Cayman again, I would rebook here. It had everything I was looking for.
