Accurate listing

Everything was according to listing. Kitchen was well supplied and functioning. My only suggestion would b to put games in sunroom and more couch seating in living area -very small inconvenience, though. We enjoyed our stay.

Charming river house

Really loved this property. It's at the end of a dead-end road, so if you have a dog, he/she will find the woods delightful for exploring--and you will enjoy the tranquility. The host provides s'mores fixings (Hershey bars, marshmallows, graham crackers) as well as a propane firepit table on the deck to roast the marshmallows over. Stairs from back deck lead to a floating dock (grounded during our stay due to drought) equipped with kayaks and paddles. Beds are comfy, kitchen well-stocked w dishes/utensils/appliances, and host communicates promptly if you have questions. Absolutely no complaints. Definitely recommend.

Weekend Getaway!

The rental was neat and clean! Everything we needed was there to make out stay fun! It was decorated really cute as well. The neighborhood was a little off the beaten path, but we didnt mind. They home was perfect for a carefree family getaway to the lake. Thank you.

Everything was wonderful

Our only criticism of this property is the lack of house numbers which made it a little hard to find. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay so much and we look forward to more stays here

Henry

It was great clean . It needs lighting on the back deck and down to the boat dock . Even with that it was very good.

Great weekend with friends!

We loved our weekend on Crooked Creek. There were two families with 6 kids total and we had plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked, coffee provided, smores kit for the kids, games, kayaks, paddle board, floats: everything we needed to have a relaxing time on the water. The deck was nice and we enjoyed the gas grill and the gas fire pit. We ate lunch at the Arrowhead Campground restaurant, and it was great and so close you could walk to it! Thanks for helping us make some great memories!

It was just ok for us

There were several repairs that need to be made on the property considering it is a manufactured home. The host did her best to make it right and was quick to respond to questions. The water level was very low and the creek could only be accessed by wading through ankle deep mud. The gaming tables and fire pit were great to help keep everyone entertained.

Unplugged Lake Trip

We had a great time visiting Smith Lake. The home was just as expected. It was stocked even more so than I thought it would be. Cozy and homey. My son brought his own rods to fish with and enjoyed the fishing pier. The kids also enjoyed the kayaks provided. The home was in a very quiet area. This was our first trip & I made lots of notes to make our trip even better next time. We didn’t think about with our trip being on a Monday/Tuesday that many of the local restaurants would be closed, but we made friends with the friendly people down the road at Skinner’s Mini Mart and had Hunt Brother’s Pizza our first night. rented a pontoon Tuesday and Wednesday from Cappy’s and they were great. However, it was a 2 hour boat ride back to the house. So, we’d do something different next time - either just dock at Cappy’s overnight or go with a different group. We refueled with Triple Creek Marina (they also rent pontoons) and they are closer to the house. We loved being on the water. I couldn’t believe how empty it was. We saw a few boats or skis, but not many. Wednesday, it stormed like crazy and we done thing I should have done ahead is written down the door code. I have Verizon service and didn’t have service to open the app when we got to the home. We had to drive back out to the main road. I hope these are notes that might also help newbies like me that didn’t know the area or what to expect.
