Welcome to the Haven!

Please message us to let us know which night you want to add onto your stay and we will update your reservation! Newberg’s newest destination is located on the grounds of the oldest wood-frame Farmhouse in the area. This is the original homestead of one of the pioneer founding fathers of Newberg.

Fully fenced and secluded behind two sets of gates, the Haven is just four short blocks from the restaurants, shops, pubs, tasting rooms and grocery stores of downtown Newberg.

The Haven is a contemporary, open-floor one bedroom, one bath guest home. It is completely fenced and backs up to a wooded area with a creek. It has not one but two gated entrances.

Private and quiet, this home has been designed with your comfort in mind. The king-size bed has a 16 inch green memory foam luxury mattress. The 58”and 32” TVs are HDTV streaming. Appliances are new and high-quality.

The open floor plan on the first floor has a large sectional sofa, a dedicated workspace, a laundry center and a full kitchen.

Quiet

Quiet location with woods as a backdrop. Easy access to restaurants and shops. I found it to be a pleasant neighborhood to walk.

Pet friendly and perfect for our extended stay

We needed a place between home sale and purchase and this was easy, close in, walkable to downtown, well furnished, clean, and our dog was welcome!

Better than a motel room

The property wasn't very pet friendly. Just gravel outside the house. The ad made it sound like there were woods you could walk into. There was a drop off with a fence. Nothing to pick up the dog poop with. We had to go buy a small shovel. The house was cold unless we kept all of the little heaters on. The one bedroom is up wooden stairs. It was ok, but i probably would stay somewhere else next time.O

Wonderful stay!

We loved our getaway at The Haven! The unit is ideal for a couple, with the living area separated from the upstairs master bedroom. Everything is brand new and top quality, from open kitchen/living room to the downstairs bath. The washer/dryer was a welcome addition. The location is ideal, in the back of the property on a private street within walking distance to eateries and a short drive to the many amazing wineries in the Willamette Valley. It’s also 30 minutes or less from downtown Portland. I would highly recommend this spot! Thank you!!
