Three adults looked at the listing missed that it is a duplex, and UPSTAIRS. The incline into the house is pretty steep for anyone with a disability. And the flight of stairs behind the front door is never shown. Without my son, we couldn't stay. I have a lung disease/hubby is hurt. I would NOT have booked this "duplex" due to the interior stairs. It's listed as family friendly. But, for our little grandkids, it was hard to explain why the backyard we thought we had access to, wasn't for us AND that they couldn't use the new swimming pool. Heartbroken kids, lol. Also, there was nothing in the home kid friendly, other than twin beds and a tv. Well, there was a yo-yo. The house is old, but clean. The floors squeak. It was listed with a Hot tub and Spa tub. We didn't find either. The temperature was comfortable for us, but controlled by the hosts living below. We would've liked it cooler at night, but hated to bother them. The kitchen is very sparse. Glad we looked before shopping. Only spice available was cloves. So we decided to eat out, but not a big deal. No baggies/foil and such to take care of leftovers. Again, very sparse. Bring what you need! Also, bring your own bathroom amenities. We had a used bar of soap in ours and mix/match of odd things, no Kleenex. Overall my guess is that Brad may not have stayed in too many VRBO homes. From all of our other experiences, this was the most minimal. But, it is reasonably priced and clean! Remember that.
