Brian's place was amazing, and he's a fantastic host! He was very responsive any time our family reached out, and was super knowledgeable about the area. The views are phenomenal, everything is as advertised, and it's family friendly - couldn't ask for more. We'll definitely stay here again. Thanks, Brian!
We adored Brian's beautiful farm house and surrounding gardens. Magical getaway from the bustle of city life and there are lots of fun summer activities just a short drive away. Brian was incredibly accommodating and available to answer any questions we had.
This place is beautiful! Great location with amazing views of the slopes and close to downtown. Very easy with a family. The farmhouse kitchen is super cute and the newly renovated bathroom is great. Brian is easy to get in touch with and very knowledgable about Breck. We will be back!
Love love love this place. Roomy and very cute along with well equipped. Also loved gaining a wood burning stove in the living room/den. . We stayed for about 5 weeks. The host was always attentive. To many great things to talk about on this write up. The best part of the stay—- the proximity to Breckenridge and the fantastic views of the ski resort!
I stayed at Brian's place for a few weeks, and it was lovely. The space is extremely cozy, and the kitchen is well appointed. The location is fantastic- a 5 minute drive from Breck with a spectacular view of the mountain. There is national forest abutting the property, so plenty of space to take my dog out for runs without having to drive.
Brian is an excellent host, super communicative and conscientious. He's a ski patroller at the mountain, and even met up with me for a few runs on the t-bar. It was a blast!
All in all I highly recommend Brian's place. I will be back!
What a perfect getaway for my and my kids. This property is amazing and the morning views of Breckinridge mountain are just incredible. The property is located just opposite of Breckinridge mountain up the hill from the gondola and just up from the local supermarket making it very convenient. We didn’t want to be in the hustle and bustle of Main Street so it was perfect for us, yet close enough for us to hop into one of Breckinrdge’s great restaurants or breweries. Brian was a very accommodating host and gave us great recommendations to make our stay very hospitable. Will definitely be here once a year!
It had been a while since I’d been to Breckenridge, and this place made me feel like I shouldn’t wait so long to return. I loved this spot. It was super convenient to downtown and all the shops (less than 3-4 mins by car), but it felt secluded and like a real mountain retreat… It is surrounded by a forest preserve.
The host, Brian, couldn’t have been more amicable. He made checking in super easy and was very attentive to anything a guest could want. Can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll be back again soon Brian.
What a great place to stay in a quiet but accessible location, backed up to national forest land. The place was well stocked with a very comfortable bed, cozy fireplace and large rainfall-style shower. I especially loved the farmhouse style kitchen. Downtown Breckenridge is only a few minutes drive for anything you need, but I spent most of the time working on my laptop in front of the mountain views and hiking on the miles of trails just out back. The host was easy to communicate with and made sure I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend.
Brought my son with me for a father-son trip, and this was an excellent stay. We were very comfortable and relaxed, and the unit was very conveniently located to both hiking right out of the door, and a very short trip to downtown Breckenridge or the resort.
The kitchen was beautifully remodeled, with an awesome view to enjoy our coffee and hot chocolate. My son slept on the huge pullout bed in the oversized living room, with a cozy wood stove keeping him warm all night. The master bedroom and bathroom were clean, nicely updated, and comfortable.
Highly recommend. Would be great for a longer stay.
This place is absolutely amazing. The views are phenomenal, especially when you consider that you’re only 5 minutes from downtown— you can see of most of the Tenmile range as you drink your morning beverage. The unit itself is very well stocked with just about anything you would need for your stay short of your own food and toiletries. The kitchen is large enough too cook for a family and is outfitted with enough cookware and dining ware to make that easy. Everything, including the kitchen, appears to have been refurbished recently so the place looks quite sharp; it was also immaculately clean. And on top of all that, Brian is an attentive host and an all around great guy. I want to come back with friends some time— it almost seemed a waste to have such an amazing space to myself. It felt like exactly what a stay at the mountain cabin should be in the 21st century.
We spent a month at Brian’s place. This perhaps is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. From the moment we got there we felt like we are at home (and we truly never got home sick). Brian is very welcoming and outgoing. He would go out of his way to make your stay comfortable and cozy. The apartment itself is very spacious and offers everything one may need. The desk in the leaving room was perfect for working; at the same time there was plenty of space for our kid to play around. The fireplace creates warm and mountain-like mood (and of course you are in the Rookies 😊). Oh, my god, if you are a sports fan, the TV is huge! The bathroom is renovated and well-stocked. During our stay we got to meet some of Brian’s friends and family as they were visiting for the holidays. Not surprising they are as nice and easy going as Brian. Overall, we had great time and would like to go back (tomorrow if possible 😊).

My son (five years old) and I took a trip to the Rockies and absolutely loved staying at Brian's place - and highly recommend! 10 out of 10.
The space itself was perfect for us, clean, and very well described in the post. My son slept out in the living room on the pullout sofa with one of those old-school stoves, and I had my own bedroom (though there is something so cozy about those stoves keeping you warm at night!). The kitchen (with heated floors!) has everything we needed to cook meals at home with the grocery store 5 mins away to stock up.
The host, Brian, was upstairs, but there is a nice element of privacy and seclusion, and he was gone for the majority of the day - yet very communicative. Check in- Check out was really easy. In terms of the view from the property, the pictures don't do it justice! Amazing to be able to stare at a world class ski resort over a morning coffee with the snow capped peaks in clear view.
We arrived at night, which made the roads a little tricky - including a steep driveway, and key to have a good 4x4 vehicle. But the location was incredible: 5 min drive to town and skiing. There are even some trails to explore from the house that we didn't get to check out - next time! Already dreaming of our next trip - will have to bring the full family and stay a little longer!
