About this property

Hawk's Nest in the Country

We're Todd & Julie! Our goal is that you have an amazing stay in Jacksonville, whether visiting your Marine or the beaches, we are close to much, but still away from it all. We have four kids, four grandchildren and love N. Carolina. The people and weather drew us here. We love sharing our home with others and enhancing their vacations! Why stay in a motel/hotel when you can stay in a home with all it's comforts? Please don't hesitate to ask any questions about our place or us. Enjoy!
The space
This is a one story home, no stairs. The kitchen is fully equipped. You will just need to provide your food. There is a full size refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, toaster oven, microwave and much more. Remember when you are staying in an Airbnb, you are staying in someone's home.
Guest access
We have 4 beds and one Pack n play/ playpen for a small child, although the description says a crib. As our guests, you will have access to the entire house except for the locked doors and garage. The large backyard is set up with a volleyball net for volleyball, badminton, or any yard type games. (Equipment provided) We ask that you respect our home and treat it well, leaving all areas in good condition upon your departure. Have a great vacation and enjoy!

Great for Holiday Family Dinner

My family had a wonderful time. The house was comfortable and clean. Great back yard, it was cold so we didn't use it but I can see having a BBQ in warm weather. Would book again.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time. Location is convenient to Jacksonville. The property is clean and beautiful. We enjoyed the backyard and volleyball net we also enjoyed the card games.

So welcoming and homey!

Julie was extremely reliable for communication from the minute we booked until days after we left! She made accommodations for us since we had my 1-year-old daughter with us and gave great recommendations for places to visit with her. The house was very welcoming and truly made it feel like a home away from home! We will definitely be renting through her again next time we come down to stay!

Great spot

Julie was a great host. Everything was ready and house was just what we needed from riding our motorcycles thru a torrential downpour. So the warm coziness of the house was perfect. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay

Relaxing quiet stay
