A little secluded cozy cottage is very close to Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Lake Michigan, Pentwater and Little Sable Light House. Adventure out and explore, then relax in the hot hub or have a camp fire. Close enough to all attractions but far enough away from tourist congestion.

We had a wonderful time here. We were pleased with all the trundle beds. They were perfect for our small children. It was conveniently located to the dunes. Thank you to our hostess for the clean house.

Discouraged, needs updating not worth the money to stay!
Very quiet, far enough from town but still super close to everything. More than enough space for just the two of us- definitely enough space for several more people. The hot tub is a plus for sure. Would certainly stay there again.
The property and house was dirty. Upon check in we found moldy food left on the floor, dead bugs found on every window sill and bathroom, dirty underwear found under the sheets in one of the beds, no propane or charcoal for the grills that were told to be readily available for guests, and little to no contact from host about these problem and concerns and no refund for these problems.
This was a perfect set up for the 12 guys that stayed. Very secluded and peaceful when on the property and close to all the courses we played. Every member of the group said that if we. One back to golf in the area again we would definitely try to rent out this property again.
The property was quiet and in a great location, our neighbors in the camper were very friendly also seen them on the dunes and meet their kids great time. Hot tub was amazing will definitely consider this property again. Few things they can add is a mop, dust pan, and a small vacuum. Other than that it was great.

Good location, but not a great stay
Three of my college girlfriends, two of their kids, and I stayed here for a long weekend. We were excited to stay close to the dunes while helping our other friend prep for her beach wedding!
Property pros:
-Great location, just a short drive from downtown, the state park, and the dunes
-Beautiful, renovated bathrooms
-wifi if needed (signage in property lists the old wifi password, but owner provided instructions for new one when contacted)
-Good communication with Andy, the owner
-Easy check-in and checkout
Property cons:
-Not clean. Hair in the bathroom sink, dirty laundry in the machine, unswept floors
-Smelly. There was a large dehumidifier in the kitchen in a tray of standing water. This water’s stench was enough to keep us out of the kitchen, and the many air fresheners throughout the property suggest the issue is not new.
-Infested with flies. The small flies surrounding the dehumidifier eventually got into the food we brought as well as throughout the house.
-Not private. There were at least 2 families staying in campers in the front and side yards of the property, just a few yards away. One family accessed the shed connected to the property during our stay. Not sure if this was okay with the owner or not. The family in the camper closest to the home had an unleashed dog who came to visit. One of their leashed dogs was “not friendly,” according to the woman sitting outside the camper.
Andy was very responsive re: the cleaning issue. Lots of potential here!

Read Carefully - Renter Beware!!
Let's start at arrival. Our cousin arrived first to water being sprayed everywhere in the kitchen from the stand up AC unit. The kitchen table and floor had significant standing water. I immediately called the number listed on the booking. No answer so I left voicemail and sent a message through the app as backup communication. The host messaged back saying to turn the unit off. The house was hot and damp from all the water, and the musty smell was terrible so turning it off was not an option. My husband and his cousin took it outside, drained all the water out, cleaned the filters and discovered the drain was plugged. After doing this it seemed to be working fine. I emailed the host back the next morning to inform her they fixed it and was told that the owner wanted to come and address the problem himself and he was working on clearing his schedule for the day to come look at it and she'd let me know. In the meantime I emailed her back to inform her that the gas grill had an empty propane tank and no firewood (email was sent to her before coming to ask if we needed to bring some. She said they typically have firewood and if it was out let her know so maintenence can come fill it.) Instead we used large logs found around propery and had to go buy firewood. I sent email around 10 am and when we got back to cabin at 4 pm I still had no response. So I called the number on listing, no answer even after voicemail. We left 3 days later and no one ever called or emailed me back.
