Shabby maintenance, combative owner

This could have been a great bungalow, but it was neglected and dilapidated. Our interactions with the host and property manager were pretty negative - they argued with us about why our issues were not really problems, they took a long time to respond, and we had an uncomfortable stay. Our issues included: Internet wasn't working. We reported this on Thursday. It wasn't fixed until Saturday. The exterior amenities were all a problem - there was an active hornet's nest over the hot tub, an armchair arm was broken, the string lights were not plugged in and had no available outlet. Inside, we had black mold around the a/c registers. The master bedroom was cratered, literally a giant and dangerous depression in the floor. The mattress was worn out and we kept sliding into the middle of the bed because of it. There were several light bulbs out, a few window roller shades that were broken and couldn't work, and the remote control batteries were all out. One of the TVs also had broken ports. I would never stay here again, and would suggest you look elsewhere for your vacation needs.

Great stay for family!

House is very cute, clean, and comfortable. Just one block from beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, toys provided. Conveniently located close to a convenience store and a few restaurants and only 10 min from Carolina Beach.

A happy new year

After a bit of a wait to get the house access information, we were finally able to enjoy the property and our vacation. The house is cozy and we had plenty of room for all. The beach is just across the street, which was amazing. The neighbors were nice and we had a great time meeting the new year here.

Beautiful and Comfortable

Was looking for a beach house without stairs that could accommodate large family and my mother in law. This house is a very quick walk to the beach and has lots of great things included like beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, etc. The only thing that was a tiny bit disappointing is that we didn’t have access to a grill. The beds are extremely comfortable though and the bungalow is very charming and well planned out. Great communication from the host as well. Would definitely stay here again.
