While our stay was short, my wife and our pups enjoyed a restful stay. The location and amenities were perfect for our needs. Shelly is an accommodating and thoughtful host.
The host was so lovely and went above and beyond to make sure my Father and husband had a nice relaxing birthday weekend. They enjoyed fishing and the beautiful surroundings. Can’t wait to visit again 😊
Have nothing but excellent things to say about both the property and the owners.
The place itself is lovely and very clean, the owners have obviously thought of pretty much everything you could need to stay.
I ran into a little bit of trouble with my vehicle while I was there, I got stuck in the mud, and they were super helpful and exceptionally gracious about it.
My family, 2 dogs included, enjoyed the tranquility of the cabin atmosphere and the stocked pond. If you are looking to unplug and unwind, this is the place to do it.
The place is simply beautiful and peaceful! The cabin is proper, clean and cozy! It was a recharging stay!
The host is very friendly and super helpful!
My family and I were so unbelievably relaxed during our stay. Michelle and her husband were the best hosts, our cabin was prepped and cozy, and the peaceful serenity is exactly what we’d hoped for. I would recommend this beautiful retreat for anyone looking to get away from the lights and noise. We will absolutely be returning!
Beautiful retreat - the pond is stocked and an excellent way to fish. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything you need for an outdoorsy-stay. Highly recommend!
We had great time Michelle is a wonderful host and just a very nice person. The fishing is great in the pond. It's very rustic nothing fancy but very comfortable. We didn't want for anything. There was plenty of water the battery operated lights worked perfect. It was so relaxing sitting on the deck with a fire going listening to the bullfrogs.Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone that wanted just a quiet little getaway.
This is a simple, raw cabin isolated in the woods. It was very peaceful. I could’ve stayed there for days.

About the host
Hosted by Shelly Doyle
As parents, we had the joy of watching our children grow up at the cabin. They explored every trail, every tree and fished this very pond. Now that they are adults the cabin just wasn’t getting the love that it once did so we decided to open it up to families that want to experience the magic and peace that nature brings. We enjoy meeting new people (especially their dogs), and want everyone to have a great time during their stay at the cabin.
