Hot tub under the stars! Mountain views/gameroom. Family-friendly Yosemite fun

Vacation in the cute historic logging town of North Fork, the exact geographical center of California, only 7 miles from Bass Lake, 22 miles from south gate of Yosemite National Park, and 7 min from Manzanita lake. Marvel at the stunning Sierra Nevada mountains, as you unwind with your group in the newly installed 6-person hot tub (pictures coming soon), stargazing, sharing stories and just catching up! Take a 3/4 mile hike from property back-gate to South Fork Willow Creek adorned with waterholes and waterfalls. And you will have it all to yourself as access is limited. As one recent guest put it - "The river is pure magic. Would definitely stay here again to access the river! We had such a good time." This is your base to explore the wonders of California nature.

Part of the "Parcels of Paradise", the Sierra Vista Lodge is fully equipped with a 6-person hot tub, Pool table/Ping-pong, Smart TVs, BBQ Grill, fire-pit, fun outdoor games, two-level decks and patio with ample seating.
Bordering Sierra National Forest, this is the perfect house for family/friends reunions, or adventure-seekers as the house backs upto unlimited hiking, fishing and exploring past the back-gate. With such a lovely outdoor space right at home, you may not wander far. Adults can enjoy the Sierra Range views from the comfy seating area on the newly stained and renovated decks, great for stargazing, while the kids play cornhole, ladder toss, frisbee toss, soccer, or bocce ball in the large backyard. Sighting wildlife such as deer, turkey, quail, peacock, woodpeckers, and dragonflies will delight the whole group. Pick mulberries from the on-site tree when they're in season, and sprinkle them on your morning pancakes for a special treat.

Inside, you'll find a space just as relaxing. There are 2 separate living spaces, plus another dining/living room that offers lots of room to spread out. Entertainment options include board games, a piano in the dining area, a two-in-one Pool table and Ping-Pong table, and two-streaming capable TVs. A field guide in the home makes for a fun scavenger hunt for kids to wander the property and identify local flora and fauna. A dedicated workspace in the primary bedroom assists with any remote work. The six-burner stove in the full, well-equipped kitchen is ideal for feeding a crowd, and there's room for everyone at the adjacent dining table. There are split air-conditioning units in the downstairs rooms and central air-conditioning upstairs to keep everyone cool when the weather is warm.

Conclude your day by enjoying a delightful cookout on the gas grill, all while basking in the captivating beauty of the Sierra range as it gleams in the soft glow of the setting sun. Following this, relish in the outdoor ambiance by spending your evening on the deck, allowing your eyes to gradually adapt to the darkness. As the night sky emerges, prepare to be awe-inspired by the sight of the Milky Way on clear nights or the thrill of spotting shooting stars. Engage in lively conversations with loved ones by the inviting firepit or while soaking your worries away in the newly installed hot tub, creating cherished memories to last a lifetime.

Right from the guest book
-"It is a perfect setup for privacy yet close to activities. You can choose to stay at the property with enough to explore/relax or adventure out close by. We spent nights outside on the deck watching the stars, Watched the deer and turkey on their daily visits, hiked down to the creek daily, short drive to manzanita creek with swim areas and Bass lake within 10 mins. We like to hike so we ventured to Willows Near by which is an awesome hike with waterfalls and pools only 15-20 mins away."

Cute place with privacy and river access

The house was clean and relatively well stocked. Our group of 9 had everything that we needed. The property felt nice and private with no neighbors in view. The trail down to the river was steep but short, and the spot at the river is absolutely gorgeous. Some additional instructions for some things - like how to turn on the hot tub and the outside string lights would have been helpful and saved us some time. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Family bonding and adventure

My family loved our time here. We were traveling with my parents and 2 kids. The scenery, endless privacy and views of the mountains made us feel that intimate connection with nature. My parents loved their early morning walks around the property. They got to try their hands at ping-ping and pool, which was a new fun experience for them. The kids loved jamming on the piano, and the elder one put on a performance for us-those violin classes finally paying off :-). My husband and elder daughter went down the creek trail. She said this was the most lively adventure she has done-hiking, climbing over big boulders, dipping her toes in the cool water, she loved it all. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, and the large dining table accommodated us easily. We spent our evening lounging on the very comfortable outdoor sofas, while enjoying the sunset views. The outdoor games-ladder toss, frisbee toss and cornhole were so much fun for all of us. Bass lake was a short 15 min drive. We rented a boat for few hours, and just chilled there. Host gave us great recommendations on local activities and sight-seeing options. We would highly recommend this home and the hosts, and would be booking again for sure :-)
