Our family loved this vacation! The house was perfect for us!’ We spent the days hiking in Shenandoah National Park and the nights around the fire pit in the comfy Adirondack chairs.
Fantastic house for a big family or group of friends!
This place was amazing! 5 Minute drive to the slopes and the fireplaces (fully stocked wood pile) felt great to come
home to on a winter evening. PLENTY of cooking and entertaining space with the downstairs game/living room. Absolutely wonderful way to spend a long weekend.
We thoroughly enjoined our weekend at your cabin. All the instructions to check-in/out were clear and your binder in the kitchen was helpful to look at area attractions and restaurants.
Very clean and well stocked with everything.
We especially enjoyed the downstairs basement family room with all of the games/shuffleboard.
Many thanks!
We had an amazing stay in this stunning cabin. It was so comfortable and cozy and perfect for our family getaway . The host had provided everything we needed. We loved to hang out in the porch in the morning and sit by the camp fire at night . The host responded promptly to any questions that we had . I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone visiting the Shenandoah Valley.
Great base for seeing National Park with a family group. Really clean with good furniture, comfy beds, well-maintained and a really well-stocked kitchen — other listings promise that the kitchen is well-stocked, but this place lives up to the billing! Basement space is really nice on a rainy day.
The home was cozy and had everything you might need. Plenty of room for 6. The location was about a 6 min drive to the ski lodge, 30 min to Harrisonburg. Kim was fast at responding to any questions, I would stay here again!
This is a very clean and well laid out rental. It was perfect for our multi-generation family getaway. There was plenty of room in the kitchen to cook together as a family and in the living room downstairs to hang out. The fire pit is super cute and we had fun roasting marshmallows and telling stories.
It's well located and the host was very responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We are already planning our return visit to this property next fall!
When renting this home, I didn't realize it was situated in Massanutten Resort. It appears remote online. But this is not a negative. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, safe, and offers several options, including dining, activities, and reasonable proximity to nearby towns, such as Harrisonburg. We explored the Luray Caverns, hiked three days within the National Park, and took a nearby kayak adventure, among other things. The area was quiet with a nice fire pit option, deck swings, and outdoor lights. All three bedrooms were nice, as well as kitchen and large basement area. Great communication with host as well. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway.
Shenandoah trails and
Peaceful. Outdoor grill needs to be replaced. Please fix door handle on upstairs bath. We didn't use the wood-burning fireplace. Strong smell of burned wood inside. Great water pressure and hot water availability. Anyway to widen the driveway access to the cabin?

This house looked awesome online and when we got there it looked awesome however, it was noisier than where I was getting away from. The road is literally right there. You can see and most definitely hear the road. My Merlin app wouldn't pick up bird sounds because of the road noise! I thought I was going in the middle of nowhere because of the online description but it is very populated so be warned! A couple things were broken that were annoying as well.
The owner was great and responsive but be prepared for lots of instructions when you get to the house. Also bring your own toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels! There were not replacements for what was already out so we had to go to the store several times!
With all that being said we had a blast. It was fun to be with family in the downstairs TV room and outside around the fire ring. All in all this place was a load of fun I just wished I had been warned of the noise level.
