The ultimate pre or post adventure rest stop or simply a wonderful destination to unwind and recharge. Whether on your own or with a friend or partner, this space was designed lovingly to offer minimalistic rustic charm coupled with the luxury of your own private hot tub. Centrally located on the island, in beautiful Nanoose Bay, the cabana is small but has everything you need for a relaxing retreat.
Please note that there is a waterless composting toilet. It is more rustic than a regular toilet & posted instructions MUST be adhered to. I live in a separate house on the property and like to give guests their privacy but will be available via text if you need anything.
A vehicle is recommended for exploring the island but there is a beach (Blueback Community Park), Schooner Cove Marina (Seascape Restaurant & Coffee Shop) and trails around Enos Lake all within walking distance of the property. -Guests MUST shower before using the hot tub. -Tub may be used anytime but quiet time is after 10pm. -Be sure to note that the cabana has a WATERLESS COMPOSTING TOILET. It is more rustic than a regular toilet and posted instructions MUST be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning fee. -Kindly wash dishes before checkout.

A lovely little space with a nice hot tub! Property was clean and comfortable. Great communication and we had one request which was promptly responded to. Excellent host and will stay her again if in the area.
This is an adorable, well appointment Cabana in Nanoose Bay. Such a quiet and peaceful location. Deer were walking by as I sat in the hot tub. I really enjoyed my stay there and will be back.
I was amazed with how well every bit of space was utilized. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, it was like being at home. It was so quiet and peaceful and such a beautiful area. We went to a soccer tournament during our stay so the hot tub was so appreciated. If you are looking for a quiet few days away this is the perfect place! The host emailed to let us know she was there if we needed anything and just let us enjoy her amazing property. So grateful to have found this home away from home!
I really enjoyed the hot tub. We were able to bring our fire pit to enjoy it in the evening hours.Cabin was cozy & had kitchen utensils & towels, robes etc. provided by the host. The host was very accommodating. She asked several times to let her know if we needed anything. It's a great place to spend & it was quite relaxing.
Nice place for a few night stay. Composting toilet is not mentioned in the property posting, so that was a surprise( but nothing that became an issue)Hot tub is a bonus. A more powerful fan would be a must considering there is absolutely no cross ventilation with only one window that opens and the fan provided has low air flow. It was a little sticky with humidity. When you need to go outside to cool off, it becomes an issue.Overall a pleasant stay.
It is such a cute property, has everything you may need. The check-in/out is so easy and the hot-tub was awesome. The host is super responsive, the power went out due to a storm for a few hours, and she happily brought us some extra lights even though it was relatively late in the evening. Access to walking trails are near by, as well as places to visit a short drive. We cooked all our meals in the cabin except for one, where we went out to Rake Brewing which was incredible. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Not quiet or private
The door was extremely loud to open and shut. Fire alarm went off randomly. The sink drips constantly. The dog barks up until late at night. Random people walking by the hot tub late at night while we were in it, both nights. Not relaxing.

Too small
Way too small and a lot of things broken or not working.
Coffee maker did not work. A real let down. No handle on cooking pots. No handle on lid.
Bed cover was wet when we got there.
Overall, a great experience! The place was a perfect size for us to have as a home away from home. Toilet took some getting used to but it worked out great. Very neat and tidy, only thing was we did have a little mouse visitor that woke us on our last night.
