Fantastic Property! I can't say enough about the beautiful countryside at all times of the year (we've stayed here in March, October, and now January. The house is fantastic, and Host Scott is a true Southern Gentleman!
This is our second stay in the studio--fabulous time during Round Top Antique Show! Only complaint this time (which didn't exist last visit) was the sulfur taste/smell in the water. Scott says this is from the drought and low Aquifer level. I hope he finds a fix for this problem before we stay again.
This is a majestic piece of property and atmosphere! Beautiful views and surroundings. House is clean and nice-Host is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
My sister-in-law and I have been coming to the Round Top Antique Show for years, we have stayed at multiple locations including Inns, Motor Courts, VRBO houses and rooms of all sorts. Scott's property and location just south of Fayetteville is by far the BEST we have ever experienced!!! I hesitate to tell you what a gem this is because we want to stay here again in the future and don't want to compete with others. We stayed in the studio which had amazing beds and a full kitchen, which we love since we cook our meals. The property was magical with green fields full of Bluebonnets and other wildflowers, a beautiful pond, Scott's longhorns (and babies) and donkeys milling about, and the most amazing old tree with Spanish Moss like in the deep south. Scott's "Southern Hospitality" was second to none!
We will definitely stay again!
