Newer cabin with easy access to town and restaurants while being in the quiet country. Short drive to caves and hiking. Would definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay in cabin 116. We were very impressed. Everything was so clean and in good working order, well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The location was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in the area and will recommend it to anyone else who is looking for a cabin close by Hocking Hills State Park. The Hocking Hills craft fair was a bust.
Cute, comfortable and practical cabin with all the necessities! We loved our 2 night stay here and we weren't far from the Hocking Hills parks. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.
Very Nice property. The log cabins were nice. Ample room, there is a master bedroom and a 2nd bedroom. Neither had a TV although the master bedroom has the input for one. Small TV in living room but good enough. The only downfall was the wi-fi kept going out. But there's enough to do at Hocking Hills and I understand there is a lake for swimming and kayaking close by. I highly recommend.
We stayed two nights. Cabin was beautiful and amenities was great and full everything you need. Light above the sink was broke maintenance came in very fast professional and it was more then a light bulb as we also had ants in kitchen area and maintenance sprayed immediately and of course it’s camping all expected. The blind in the door was all busted up. Other than this it was great staff was wonderful breakfast was delicious! Thank you
We really enjoyed the stay. The cabin was well equipped, very spacious and a lot of fun! Our only issue would be that it needed more seating than just a futon. It forces you outside but the weather disnt fully cooperate for us on that. We look forward to coming back!!
Property was new and rustic and smelled like wood -- no surprise, since it was 98% wood. Only a couple of quibbles:
1) the Internet did not work on the postage-stamp sized TV which was not a big deal except that we spend 45 minutes trying to figure out what we were doing wrong to get it to work. Yes, we were told about the spotty WiFi, but it would have helped if we'd been told not to bother with the TV that first evening.
2) my wife found hairs in the shower that were not ours.
3) the overhead tree was shedding berries like crazy which we didn't mind, except we'd track in berry juice to the unit's floor.
4) we actually got the heater to work but didn't know it since it takes 5-10 minutes after we set the temp for the heat to kick in. If we'd been told this, we wouldn't have had to bother the excellent staff about it.
So... it wasn't perfect, but close. Not only would we stay there again, but it was the kind of small, rustic, minimalist place that dreams are made of.
