About this property

A beautiful, bright and spacious house, located in a family friendly street /neighbourhood in the capital city area. Only 4km drive to downtown Reykjavik. Golf Club Seltjarnarnes is close by and also Grótta Island lighthouse.

Our house is on one floor with a beautiful garden. Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. Our Master bedroom has a King Size bed, second bedroom has very nice Bunk bed with a Double bed ( 140x0200 cm ) on the lower level and a single bed ( 90x200cm ) on the upper level. The third bedroom has a sleeping sofa. Our bathroom has a nice big shower.

Our house is very well located, close by you have a grocery store, bakery, shopping centre, gym and a swimming pool. The local swimming pool (Seltjarnarneslaug) is one of the nicest geothermal pools in the city. The house is just by the ocean and there is a popular walking / bike path that you can use to go into the centre of Reykjavik or to Lighthouse Grótta, which at is a popular place to see the Northern Lights when the weather conditions are right. At Grótta you have an excellent restaurant and cafe called Ráðagerði. A little further you will end in Nauthólsvík Geothermal beach, there is a very nice restaurant / cafe called Nauthóll.

It's a very nice and bright house in a nice upscale neighbourhood.

We have a baby crib and highchair available to use for your children.

Stylish and spacious family house just outside Reykjavík city centre.

Our stay was excellent! Very spacious and high level equipped house. We appreciated much the “home away” feeling and the fact that an other family actually live in the house contributed. Quite a lot private stuff now an issue for us as family of five andWe were the first renters Would definitely book this house again and will recommend to our friends and relatives. Guy that handed over keys was very flexible with regards to check-in in the middle of the night, thanks!
