Our host was beyond kind! She was truly gracious and welcoming.
We had a lovely phone conversation shortly after booking. She truly went out of her way treating us as if we were close friends or even family. I was dropping my 12 year old daughter off at summer camp and felt like I was staying at a friends cottage. Everything was well tended to and extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and there are many friendly people walking around with their dogs. This was a delightful stay and I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing home to stay in while in town. Many thanks to our SUPERB host!
We had the best time at Kate's lakehouse over the 4th of July holiday week! The house and backyard are perfectly set up with everything you need for a great vacation getaway. The house was very clean upon arrival, completely spotless! The set up was great for five adults staying a full week (we were two young couples and a single elderly traveler). The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are well sized with room for suitcases, the kitchen and family room area are awesome for entertaining and the backyard is fantastic. When we weren't at the community beach (5min walk from the house) we spent time grilling, playing cornhole and enjoying the fire pit in the yard. The community beach is lovely, clean, afternoon sun-facing, great for swimming and everyone was really friendly. Kate provided several new beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers for us to take down to the beach. Kate was an incredible host going above and beyond with sweet treats upon arrival and lots of recommendations for our first trip to Lake Winni. We will definitely be back to Kate's and have already recommended to several friends :)
