Great location

There is lots to do around the area so we spent every day exploring and this was the perfect spot to come back to in the evenings. There are several restaurants and shops nearby and the place was clean and had everything we needed.

Great stay

This place was perfect for our family's trip. It was clean, had all the necessities we needed, and was located central to all our activities. Many restaurants and stores in walking distance. Would recommend to anyone with a smaller group who is planning to take in Custer State Park and the surrounding areas.

Great location!

We had a fabulous time spent here over the 4th of July. We were close to all of the festivities including the parade, a cute playground/park, fireworks, the grocery store, and good food options. It was fun to stay right in the small town of Custer and travel around to see many different historical sites in the area!

Great base for all your Black Hills adventures

This is the perfect place to stay for all of your Black Hills adventures! Located in downtown Custer within walking distance to shops, great restaurants, laundromat, and a grocery store. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a bucket of snacks, and a binder full of tourist information. Clean and very cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location!

This property was a perfect location and size for our trip. After several nights in hotel rooms, it was nice to spread the family out in this clean and perfectly located loft. We were able to walk to dinner each night and Custer was a perfect location for our 2 nights in the Black Hills. This loft is a great base camp for our adventures.

Happy we chose to stay here

The Needles loft was perfect for our family’s quick spring break trip to South Dakota. We loved being in a central location and having our own space in the evenings after the daytime adventures. The host welcomed us with a bottle of wine, bucket of snacks, and binder of travel information, all very much appreciated.

Custer

We loved the location of this VRBO. Custer gives you a very "home town" feel. Everyone very friendly and we felt very safe. Safe enough to let my 14yr old granddaughter go out in the morning by herself to do her run! The trail behind the unit is awesome! Loved everyone of the restaurants we ate at! Good food; good people; good time!

Awesome place

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! The hosts made the space incredibly cozy and welcoming. Downtown Custer is very family friendly with plenty of dining options and everything settles down around 9pm (which is perfect if you have kiddos). There’s a very cute playground a block or two away and access to trails right behind the house (Mickelson Trail and Custer Skywalk Trail). We will definitely be back!
