Surf's Up at the Dawn BEACH FRONT

Welcome to Surf's Up - a ground floor, gulf front condo at the Dawn Condominium Complex. Fresh on the market late summer of 2019 - you'll be one of the first guests ever to experience the brand spankin' new decor and comfort that the owner has put thought into each and every detail from furniture to bedding to the amazing view. Sit on your private patio and watch the birds dive for their dinner, the waves crash, and the sun rise and set. Two pools, a fitness room and of course - the BEACH!

The bedroom is fit for a queen with a king-sized bed and it's own television. You can access the bathroom - with custom tiled shower - through the bedroom or the common areas of the condo (and for privacy can lock it from either location as well.) The large living room features a queen sized sleeper sofa, comfy seating for the entire group and a large flat panel television for catching up on the day's events or planning for tomorrow's. You'll love the kitchen with anything and everything you could need to prepare a home cooked meal or just warm up leftovers. Full sized appliances - including a washer & dryer, allow you to pack light for your trip or not take home dirty laundry - but only precious memories of your vacation at Surf's Up. We ask only that you shake all sand off your clothes before putting them in the washer, and clean the dryer filter often, please.

In the bedroom walk in closet you will find two rollaway beds - with instructions in the closet and the guest information book for assembling them and putting them away. So this condo can easily and comfortably sleep 6 guests.

While we are a phone call or email away - we know you didn't come on vacation to see us - so once we've provided your self check in instructions and know that you've received them, we'll try not to bother you.

The Dawn Condominium Complex charge $40.00 per vehicle for stays of 1-3 nights and $50.00 per vehicle for stays of 4 nights or longer as a parking/resort/amenity fees. This is not a charge from My Galveston Getaway and is paid directly to the complex upon your arrival. They will issue a parking permit and may issue wristbands that identify guests who are authorized at the complex. They will also provide guests with the codes for the gates to enter the property - both drive-through and walk through.

Very spacious condo with a covered balcony overlooking the gulf where you can enjoy your morning coffee while wave and bird watching.

What's included: Bed linens for all beds, bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels and we do ask that ours not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost.

Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are not intended to last your entire group through your entire stay - but to get in, get situated and figure out where you will shop for what on the island.

After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.
