We stayed in Canopy Lane for a PSU football game. It was about a 35 minute commute, not bad at all. The home was very clean and Charlene was very responsive. I Highly recommend finding the house in the daylight. Charlene was sweet enough to leave us Staples in the refrigerator and muffins and fruit for our arrival. I highly recommend this home
We came up for the Rutgers game last weekend. Charlene was amazing with communication and helpfulness! She gave us a recommendation for a local food place to check out on Friday night, very good tavern!
The house was very well taken care of and there was even some goodies left for us in the fridge and on the table. Everyone that stayed with us said it was a great house and would consider renting again for another football weekend. The only "complaint" we had was we wished there was mention of the long tree lined driveway upon arrival, so glad we arrived during daylight because not sure I would have drove down that in darkness. I even stopped midway during the day because I thought I had missed the house and was on another road.
Thanks for a great place to relax at during our reminiscing at State College!
We came in for a Penn State football game. The house was clean and comfortable. Property manger was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a very peaceful setting and we would love to come back in October to see the colors watch football and do some hiking.
Very relaxing remote location. Beautiful setting. Quaint older farmhouse, but everything is updated. Great personal service from Charlene, very nice personal touches & extras provided. We stayed here for a PSU football game & it is a little bit of a drive to State College, but loved the accommodations. Would definitely stay here again!
Peaceful, beautiful farm home Half and Hour from PSU
Loved the beautiful home and the goodies when we arrived. The owners were gracious and accommodating to our needs! The only problem was the awful weather that prevented us from enjoying the grounds.
Great getaway for our family’s trip to the PSU football game. House was private, quiet, and very clean! Having 3 full baths was WONDERFUL for our group of 7. Cell phone coverage was spotty. We were there in rainy weather so that could have factored into it. Will look to book this one again when in the area!
We booked this place to use for a penn state football weekend and it was so much more than that! I wish that we could have spent the entire weekend on this property to relax and enjoy the hospitality, the beautifully renovated home, and property. Charlene was a wonderful host. She takes such pride in this house and the history behind it. I would definitely stay here again!
