Located in the heart of Soulard, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, laid out in the early 19th Century just south of what was the original core of St. Louis. Only 5 minutes from downtown, it's close to most major STL attractions. The neighborhood is very safe and visually stunning if you enjoy old architecture. Perhaps best known for being the home to the 2nd largest Mardi Gras behind New Orleans, it is also a walkable neighborhood with a vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene.

Cute little two bedroom

Joe was an amazing host. Very attentive and kind. The apartment was cute and clean. Sound machines were provided for any street noise. We didn’t hear much and most of what we did hear was from the living room only. It did not impact our stay. I will admit that I was slightly concerned about the alley parking the first night, but it was actually a very quiet alley and my vehicle was fine. There are quite a few stairs into the unit and it was a little tough with the bags but not a deal breaker. My daughter loved having her own room for the trip and we found some restaurants nearby. We had a great time!

Great spot for a long weekend getaway!

We had a great 4 night stay at this property. From the time of booking through our stay, Joe was on top of making sure we had what we needed. He answered any questions we had right away and even came by to restock the coffee and get the tv signed back into the many streaming services he provides. Finding the place was super easy and we really appreciated the off street parking.There are lots of fun places to grab food and drinks within walking distance. When we ventured further, Ubers were plentiful. We wouldnt hesitate to book here again!

Great location

It’s a great location, easy to Uber to an Uber from anywhere in the city. Plenty of restaurants, bars and things to do close by. However, if you have issues with stairs, this is not the place for you.. 3rd floor and probably around 30 stairs. Surprisingly quiet at night time.

Lovely little spot!

Property was exactly as listed. Beautiful with the wood floors and brick work. Central a/c AND ceilings were definitely appreciated, alongside the phone charging stands and white noise machines. Joe was responsive & attentive when we brought a small thing that needed a minor repair. Area was in a great spot if you enjoy bar hopping and having accessibility to nearby attractions. Really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for activities for young children. The property was a short drive to zoo, city museum, museum of illusions. Also there is a playground at Pontiac Square Park with a water spout.

Overall great place

Our host made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The neighborhood seems to be up and coming, there were a lot of restaurants and live bands within walking distance. The private parking was the icing on top, it made us feel safer in a city we don't know well and was super convenient.

Perfect city getaway

Although the apartment is the third floor, it was everything we needed. Clean and comfortable great for a mother/daughter trip. Close to all the major attractions of the city. Off street parking was a huge plus. The owner super responsive and welcoming. Need anything, just ask. If I visit St Louis again, I’d rent this location again!

Close to Everything

I extended a business trip in St. Louis and wanted something close to everything. This was the perfect spot! Budweiser, Arch, Busch stadium, Union Station…all within a few minutes ride. The apartment was clean and had all we needed. Restaurants and bars within hundreds of feet…so convenient after sight seeing all day. Our host was friendly and checked to see if we needed. It is a third floor apartment, so lots of stairs (may not be suitable able for young children or elderly folks), but manageable after getting luggage and supplies carried up. Great time! Highly recommended!

Loved the location! Clean!

I really loved how central we were to everything. We walked to eat crow, which was amazing. The cons is the stairs are scary but it seemed pretty common for St Louis and it didn't look as bad comparing other 3 story apartment buildings. Large room bed was uncomfortable for me personally. Pros: good amount of space, owner was super communicative, location, it's beautiful inside. Lots of extra cozy blankets. Close to everything we came to do.

Good short stay in St Louis

We enjoyed our 2-night trip to St Louis - first time visitors. Host was very helpful and very quick to respond to messages. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Shower / bathroom not great. We parked our car in the street out front rather than in the lane at the back. Initial impression of the immediate area not great but we didn’t experience any issues during our stay. Overall enjoyed our short stay here and would be happy to book with this host again if we return to St Louis.
