This is the perfect property if you and a small group (no more then 4 people) are in the area to ski or explore Carrabassett Valley! The property is clean, cozy, and includes all the essentials to cook meals. I would highly recommend staying here!
We were looking for a basic, inexpensive lodging for a ski weekend, and this fit the bill. The apartment was as advertised, clean, welcoming, and well outfitted. Building was well cared for with prompt snow removal. Communications with host were prompt and pleasant. Only hitches were the bathroom door handle which fell off and the lockbox that was difficult to operate. This and the unit's distance from the ski area keep it from top rating.
Very kind owner/mgr with amazing communication skills. Adorable condo. Clean with all necessities… even hot cocoa for the Keurig. Perfect distance to Sugarloaf. Yummy restaurant next door. I want to stay here every time we come!
I stayed with my family at the property for 4 nights for our ski trip and price is reasonable. We are two adults and two teens. We enjoyed our stay. The room is small but very clean.
We stayed in this home for 2 nights during our trip to Maine. The place is in close proximity to a few convenience and grocery stores, as well as many restaurants and beautiful hiking trails in a ski village. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we enjoyed the balcony at the back of the place, which has a view of the river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and this place was a great spot for us to relax after busy days in Sugarloaf.
Property was quiet and was as described in the listing. Perfect place for a shot stay. The room was clean and the property was nice with a good restaurant at the location. Close to trails and a short drive to Sugarloaf Resort.
Great apt with everything we needed for stay. Close to Narrow Gauge trail with restaurant/bar in walking distance.
Well provisioned with bedding, towels and everything we needed.
Zack is an amazing host! He did not raise his prices for the eclipse! So decent! The place was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for anything better! We hope to stay at his condo again and give it our highest recommendation!
Staying at this condo in Carrabassett Valley, Maine was an absolute delight! From the moment it was booked, communication with the host was seamless, ensuring an stress-free experience. The location itself is breathtaking, nestled amidst stunning scenery, the views, white noise of the nearby river, and surrounded by warm, friendly locals who truly enhance the charm of the area. The condo itself was cozy, well-equipped, and provided the perfect retreat for days filled with outdoor adventures. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in nature's embrace! I picked this condo for a solo ski trip. The host was able to accommodate me a night early, considering I was arriving in Maine a day early at 9pm. After a long 6.5 hour drive, I did not have service on the mountain, but thankfully I was able to connect with the host by parking in front of the condo and connecting to the WiFi. He gave me easy instructions to get in since my tired self could not figure out the lock, and with the host’s help my mind was at ease.
Upon waking up I was greeted with a beautiful view of the river from the sliding door and had the best days of skiing trip that I’ve had of my life here.
The people are amazing and it was a short 10 minute gorgeous drive to the beautiful sugarloaf. I will definitely be staying again. I have changed my mind about my excessive trips to VT and will now strictly be skiing in Maine. Thank you for such a memorable time!!!!
Perfect spot for Sugarloaf access, everything you need
Excellent location. Simple, clean, comfortable and warm. Easy access. The unit is very comfortable for two people with a weekend of ski gear and food. Might be a little small for four adults.....certainly will work. Perfect for two or a couple with small children planning to ski at the loaf. If you want to be close, the cost goes up. This was a good compromise with a full kitchen for food preparation making ski day preparation (breakfast/snacks) and apre' ski snacking or cooking very convenient. Will definitely stay here again.
great price and location for skiing at sugarloaf. we did wish we had been given notice about the boil water advisory for the building (I think there was a flood a week or two prior to our stay) but we bought a case of bottled water and drank that. the mattress was a little rough on our 40+ year old bodies, but for the price, you really can't beat it. the proximity to tufulio's is perfect for parents who do not want to drive to dinner after a long day of skiing. thank you for having us!
