It was a very comfortable stay with a beautiful view with complete privacy. Communication was great with questions answered in a timely manner. Would recommend.
We were in the area for our Dad's 75th Birthday Party Celebration. It was a treat staying close to family and having our own secluded and peaceful space! The house was well furnished and met all our needs. We will stay again and find time to enjoy the back porch/outdoor area!
Plenty of indoor space, great outdoor space as well. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the firepit and outdoors but looked great! Cleanish, though we have pretty high standards.
Our stay was very nice, it is in a very quiet wooded area. The only 2 problems we had were there were no curtins or blinds on the living room windows and it didn't get cleaned real well before we arrived. We do recommend it to anyone.
A great place to get away from it "all". No traffic or neighbor noise. The inside is Texas style and is furnished with up to date appliances, the most comfortable chairs to watch tv ,has wi-fi, etc,.and so much more . The wife and I will book another stay next year as we liked it so much.
3rd bed proved to be a subpar rollaway that ended up a mattress on the floor. Motion alarm on front of house a nuisance that we were unable to disable. Otherwise, a nice remote getaway!
A few family members and I stayed here while participating in a dirt bike race close by. We truly enjoyed the space and location. The property was clean and surroundings peaceful.
Property is off the highway enough to be peaceful, but 30 minutes or less to anything you need. Loved the Texas decor-longhorn horns, cowhide. Plenty to watch on tv, grounds are nice. Didn't use the fire pit-June just isn't the right season. Washer/dryer were great for our two week stay. Wayne was attentive and often there taking care of the grounds. Took advantage of the dinosaur park and the state park as well as an indoor play park with our grandchildren. Pricing puts this place at a bargain.
The property was clean and nicely decorated. It is out in the country where you don't really have to worry about neighbors. If you are looking for peace and quiet consider staying here.
This home has a real cabin in the woods feel. Rustic, but with modern touches. It could have been warmer overnight into the morning, but overall very cozy. The bed that we used was comfortable, water in the shower was instantly hot with good pressure, and the kitchen functed well. It was a delight to roam around the property, and though it was cloudy for most of our stay, we were able to see a spectacular view of the night sky without any light pollution. Wayne was a gracious host and accommodated all our needs.
