Step outside and embrace the beauty of the strand as you walk your dog or enjoy a leisurely stroll with your friends. Surfing is right at your doorstep, and you can also engage in activities like swimming and snorkeling. If you wish to explore further, the beach is just a mile to the north, while Redondo Beach awaits a mile to the south. Both cities are easily accessible by foot, or you can grab one of the bikes available in our bike room and enjoy a scenic ride along the 21-mile bike path that stretches from Palos Verdes to Malibu, passing through various charming locations along the strand.

Great visit to Hermosa Beach

The location of the property was perfect. Right on the Strand and Beach. Many restaurants and shops walkable from our location. Suzanne was great, she was very responsive to our needs and concerns. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Summer Hiatus

I was here for almost 7 weeks for my summer hiatus. I loved it. Great location, just a 7 minute walk to the Hermosa Pier and a 30 minute walk to the Manhattan Beach Pier! Suzanne was a great host and very accommodating and responsive. The unit itself was perfect for what I was looking for. Cute one bedroom with a full kitchen and a living room. The gym was great and had top rated equipment. Bikes are accesible, too. I highly recommend!

What a location!

We really enjoyed our time on the beach and found the apartment to be very comfortable. The location can't be better, the house is literally on "The Strand" (aka the pedestrian walkway that runs along the beach). The house is about 3 blocks to the pier where a majority of restaurants are located - perfect easy walking distance, but far enough away that you're buffered from the weekend noise. This apartment is located on the 2 floor at the back of the house, which faces a very quiet alley. The 3 apartments on the 2nd floor share a patio on The Strand, and most nights we found it was our private patio, even though the other apartments were occupied. Thoughtfully, there is a small electric BBQ on the patio, so you can grill and watch the sun set over Malibu mountains and the dolphins playing in the waves. The ladies who own and manage the property could not have been nicer. When a shelf fell down in our closet, I texted the property manager who was there within 15 minutes to fix it. When we had a problem with the keyless door combo, once again there was a near instant response to my text. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed - includes a king sized bed, a small well-stocked kitchen that is part of a kitchen/dining/living room, stacked washer/dryer, bathroom with shower/tub combo. We stayed for 5 weeks as we moved between houses in the LA area. We have 2 cars and didn't have a problem parking 1 in the carport area and the 2nd on Hermosa Ave. There is always easy parking available.

Great place to find peace and relaxation !

We were there for thirteen nights. The location is incredible and the unit was as described, Suzanne and her husband were very responsive to few items that needed repair. We highly recommend to stay there and we hope we can visit again in the future !

At the Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Hermosa Oasis, Casa del sol. We are really very fussy about the cleanliness of where we stay, and were expecting the place to need a good cleaning particularly being at the beach. However, much to our surprise the place was spotless, everything looked like it was well taken care of. We could tell the owners took pride in providing a quality rental.The owners responded to our needs very quickly. You cannot go wrong with renting from Suzanne.

Great Beach Location

For the past 4 years we have had our employees stay at Hermosa Oasis. Suzanne could not have been anymore helpful, flexible and most of all responsive. Every time we needed anything she was available and helped with whatever the issue and every changing needs of our corporation. I can't thank Suzanne enough for all that she did for us. She was fabulous to work with. The location of this property is right on the beach and one of the reasons we selected it. The units are well appointed and have everything you need. Compared to other places we have had the quality is beyond compare. You won't go wrong staying here for a night, a week or years as we did. Thanks Suzanne!!!

The absolute BEST location!

We could not have had a better place to stay. Wonderful community and the nicest people in the area. Everything that we needed was provided to us. Excellent patio for people watching and great food all within walking distance. You can ride a bike to cover more area on the strand .. all right out your door. Sunsets are absolutely amazing. If we are back in the area, I certainly hope we will be able to stay there again. Thanks, Suzanne!

Experience of a lifetime

I'd dreamed all my life of going to L.A., but Suzanne's place at Hermosa Beach was the highlight of our trip. After dealing with the stress of L.A. traffic, this Hermosis oasis was just that. But the most memorable moments of our trip were of waking up in the morning and eating breakfast on this incredible beachfront patio, not to mention going for morning walks on The Strand. I can't say enough about Suzanne's properties. And on top of that, she's such a nice person!

All that the owner said it was. A pleasant, enjoyable place. Easy to work with and friendly people. Next time I need a rental in Hermosa, they will be my first call! Restaurants and diversions galore!

Why they chose this property

VRBO chose to stay with us here at Hermosa Oasis. They gave us a great review. Not a single other home in Hermosa can say that!

We are located on The Strand just (a 21 mile long Boardwalk where you can ride, walk or sit and people watch) and just a few blocks North of The Hermosa Beach Pier Plaza. The home was renovated on the interior a few years back and the exterior is almost completed, so it beautiful inside as well as outside. We have been with VRBO for many years. When we started up with VRBO there were only 2-3 listings for vacation rentals in Hermosa. That has changed, but our hand on personal touches have not.
