2/10 Terrible

Inaccurately advertised, Not as good as previous Visits
When traveling to Park City, we stay at Silver King. We have thoroughly enjoyed our past experiences at All Seasons Resort Lodgings. Unfortunately, our most recent trip from Texas this December was a great disappointment, to say the least. A priority for how we choose accommodations in ski towns is if there's a hot tub/pool on site. Sadly, we were not told that these were under construction. Depending on the construction timeline which we could not have known, we could have (and should have) been informed at some point throughout the reservations process. However, we were not made aware of this prior to booking, during the booking process (making a reservation online still lists "shared hot tub/pool" in amenities), after we made the reservation, or even upon arrival. Had we known of this, we would have made other arrangements. Additionally, there were other in-room conditions that compromised our vacation and were unlike our previous experiences at Silver King. To name a few; the bathroom ceiling of our room (312) had visible mold (so we avoided supplementing the lack of hot tub on-site by our in-room jacuzzi.) The television was not hooked up properly. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The ground floor sliding glass door next to our bed did not seal well. The fireplace was wood burning vs. electric, as it is in other rooms. We had a distinctly different retreat this year than in the past. Room-to-room seem to differ massively in quality. We weren't informed of any structural changes. Accommodations don't appear to be advertised accurately online. Ultimately we weren't able to plan for our trip due to all of these reasons, nor we were able to enjoy our vacation to Park City this year.
