Stephanie was super responsive and we absolutely loved her place. Very convenient to everything and loved walking to nearby shops. We definitely hope to visit SA again and hope her place is available when we do. Thank you!!!
Good location close to downtown good price. Different furniture than in photos andblooks a little different but still good. No oven mits or jand towels for kitchen and nobextrs garbage bags
We loved this little house. It was built in the 1890's but is up to date. The location couldn't have been better- walking distance to so many things! The house had everything we needed (although it did take us a long while to find the extra bedding in a wooden box). IF I had to complain about something, I'd say the master bed frame is a little wobbly/squeaky (small issue only) and the lack of shower door/curtain makes one shower get the bathroom floor wet every time (easily wiped up with a towel). I would recommend this place to anyone as an economical way to stay to visit San Antonio.
We loved our time in San Antonio and this house was just perfect to meet all of our needs! The location was superb. The house was clean with everything you could need and the host was super responsive and had a great little book with restaurant ideas and things do. Everything was just great. Highly recommend!
My husband and I went down for an event and needed a place to stay that was close. This was two minutes away from the venue that we were staying at very close to the downtown area so that we could also go to the Riverwalk and to some good restaurants and food house was clean as well as comfortable. Plenty of amenities and host or responsive to any questions or concerns that we had will be booking with this host again as we loved it.
Convenient location to River Walk. Super clean. Love the labeled switches and other items. There were no photos of bedroom #2. I assumed there would be 2 actual twin beds. My fault for not clarifying beforehand. There's 1 bed and 1 trundle bed. Not a deal breaker for us. breaker for us,
The place was perfect for my daughter and I to enjoy San Antonio. The house is perfectly located to be able to walk to nearly anywhere! We loved visiting the riverwalk and Southtown. The host was very responsive and helpful.
Walking distance to Conference Center. Homowners were delightful. Thankful for good sizeable driveway for parking, which seems to be a commodity in this area with narrow streets. Be aware of your surroundings while walking to/from Riverwalk. Crime seems to be an issue all around downtown, which is no fault at all to the homeowner. Cute little home. Would stay here again.
So walkable- about a half mile to La Villita and the Riverwalk, just a bit farther for the Alamo or bars and restaurants like The Friendly Spot. So nice not worrying about parking when seeing the sights, or having a designated driver when we wanted to have drinks out. The Tower of the Americas is always in view, and the Yanaguana park in front of that is a hub for family activities, local artisans selling their wares, and some water you can splash your feet and paws in.
This is an old, historic home- nicely renovated but don’t expect new construction or a modern layout. The master bath is off the kitchen, not connected to the master bathroom but not far either.
The house is well stocked with games- jumanji, monopoly, connect 4, several decks of playing cards. We stayed when it was 96 degrees out and the AC had no trouble keeping us comfy. We had some minor technical issues at the start of our stay and the owners were very quick to respond and came right over to fix the issue. This is a quickly improving neighborhood so I expect the rent for this gem will increase soon, but if we can afford it we’ll definitely stay here again next time.

Don’t stay when it’s cold- could use some updates
Unfortunately for us we were there when the temperature dropped below freezing. There is a space between the outside doors & doorframes where you can see outside light, needless to say it was freezing in there with cold air blowing in. Furnace couldn’t keep up. One day we lost all electricity for 15 minutes while a boom truck was down the street. (No fault of the owner, just couldn’t get warm). No heat vent in one of the bathrooms with wooden floor throughout it was extremely cold. Washer & dryer but there was no laundry detergent accessible. Had to send message to owner. Having Roku for tv sucked. Couldn’t get regular channels or had to pay extra, which we did.
