This cozy home is located on Main Street in Historic Boalsburg. The house features 2 first floor bedrooms and a full bath. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen and a large back deck. The house is walking distance to several nice restaurants, a new brewery, a winery, a new bike shop and the military museum. It is very close to Penn State - 5 miles to stadium. Great location to stay for several summer arts and craft festivals (Boalsburg Memorial Day Arts fest, People's Choice, Arts Fest). In addition, there is a bike park (Harvest fields nearby) as well as a indoor climbing gym. A few short miles away are several golf courses and the Tussey Mountain fun center. Mountain bikers, trail runners, hikers- this is a great location to stay while exploring Rothrock State forest.

Wonderful Cottage Close to Penn State

I almost want to keep this little cottage a secret. To have a whole house to ourselves, be able to take our dog (who had his own fenced in back yard), and two big beds was amazing! There's a lock box on the front of the house so it was easy to get the key. There was enough comfortable furniture everyone could sit together. The beds were soft and cozy. The heat came up as soon as we turned the heater on. There are couple of minor downsides. The water pressure in the kitchen isn't great - but the shower is fine. And the bathroom is small - you can be on the commode and wash your hands at the same time. However, the location is SO close to campus, and shops, and restaurants, that it's a true win for our family. Our PSU son was so glad to sleep in a Queen bed. And the place has all of the amenities - soap, shampoo, dish washing liquid, paper towels, TP. And it's quiet at night. I can't say enough about how great this cottage is. Maybe next time it won't rain all weekend - but the bunny that lives in the backyard didn't seem to mind.

Winter Weekend

Everything from check in to check out was smooth. Good communication and an accurate description of the home. Great backyard for pets and very nice walkable town. Enjoyed our stay.

Great stay for the Penn State Game

This was a cute home right in Boalsburg. It was 10 minutes from our daughter's dorm and 10 minutes to the stadium. The house was well stocked with pots and pans and it worked perfectly! Would love to stay again in the summer and enjoy the backyard and the local places. Thanks for everything!

Perfect for 2

This little cottage is perfect for 2. Comes complete with everything that you could possibly need. The only drawback is that the bathroom is very small and the water pressure is low. It's a perfect location to get anywhere that you need to go.

Quiet comfortable house near Penn State

Beds were comfortable, really appreciated having a recliner, which hotels never have! And two TVs so we could watch different programs at the same time. Convenient to Penn State.

Will and Dana were great hosts. Easy to work with and accommodated all our needs. The house is very close to Penn State which made visiting our son very easy. We look forward to staying here again over the next few years.

Nice stay in a great location

My family (4 adults) stayed at the house for 3 nights. One son slept in the other bedroom and the other slept on the large couch. While not a big house, it had a deck, porch, and enough room to hang out. The house was clean and equipped enough to feel at home (K cups, furnished kitchen). The house is a minute off a main road, but you feel like you are already in a small town. An easy walk to Duffy's Tavern, and quick trip to Boal City Brewery and Meyer Dairy. The house is in a great place to tale a walk from and numerous hiking trails within 15 minutes. Owner was easy to communicate with; I would stay again.

Charming home near State College

We had a wonderful stay with our small family. It has a lot of character and it super cozy. Both beds were very comfortable and the home is overly stocked with everything we needed (towels, kitchen supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.). We will definitely try to stay in the future when we return to this area!

My sister-in-law and I came to town to celebrate an engagement party in Boalsburg. The location of the home was perfect. Boalsburg is very quaint and beautiful, and a central location—just a few miles from State College. Everything was clean and organized. Thank you so much. I hope to go back again if I visit State College.

Nice stay

We stayed at this property over the weekend of the 70.3 Ironman. The house was well located (only 10 min from the Beaver Stadium) and big enough for my wife, my father in law and the dogs. The back yard was fenced and pretty big, and it was nice to seat on the front porch enjoying the summer rain.

Perfect hideaway

I was in the area for a few days, with plans / commitments scattered throughout the Nittany Valley. Hard to imaging a cozier hideaway or a better location.

Nice cottage stay

Communication with host was easy from the start. Questions answered and timely responses. The cottage was just on the edge of Boalsburg which was wonderful and a safe location. The house had everything needed for our family and pet. The backyard was large but shared and our pup did not do well with the chicken coop. Overall the stay was nice and we so much appreciated having all the amenities of home.

Boalsburg Gem

We had a wonderful stay at Will and Dana’s place in Boalsburg! We were able to walk to Duffy’s Tavern, cute shops and Kelly’s steakhouse. Their house is just a short drive to Penn State, which made the location ideal! Checking in and out was a breeze and our hosts couldn’t have been more accomodating! Thank you so much Will and Dana! Perfect location close to PSU campus

Stayed for Thon weekend. Lovely, quiet and cozy pet friendly home less than 10 minutes from campus. Great communication with Hosts. Close walk to local tavern, and fenced yard for my dog.

Great Boalsburg Home

We love this place! 2nd time we have stayed here. Clean & well equipped with all the essentials. Host is easy to communicate with & responds quickly. Our dog loves the large yard with this small home. It’s basically fenced in, but in certain places it’s less secure. So if your dog is apt to flee, then be more cautious. The larger bedroom has enough space for a dog bed on the floor. Nice neighborhood to walk around night/day. Great rental!!

Lovely weekend stay

Home was very nicely set up, warm and cozy. Kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed to prepare for our game day tailgate. Host was very attentive to our questions and replied quickly. Perfect for a PSU football weekend visit with our college student and her friends.
