We loved the fun art throughout the house, and the great indoor and outdoor areas to hang out. Loved being able to walk to restaurants in downtown Frederick!
My friend and I enjoyed five nights at the Madison. We were very happy with everything. The beds and pillows were wonderful. Loved the decor and cleanliness. The location was great for exploring downtown Frederick and Carrol Creek and day trips to Annapolis, DC, and Harper’s Ferry.
A friend & I enjoyed a fabulous weekend in beautiful Frederick. The Madison is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! It’s impeccably clean, located in a friendly & quiet neighborhood, bright interior, quality beds & bathrooms, nice outdoor space in back garden. Communication with owner was incredibly responsive. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again!
This property ended up being 30 min away from where our sports tournament was. However, it was amazing and we are so glad we booked it. Super clean and the location was awesome. Such a cute town with fun shops and restaurants. And the property manager was amazing to work with.
A wonderful property in the heart of historic Frederick. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly maintained. Great communication with the owner. Looking forward to many return visits!!!
Everything about it was great. Location perfect for Frederick. Can walk to restaurants and shops if you want...it's that close. Definitely would stay here again.
The house was clean and well appointed. Had everything we needed. It had snowed prior to our arrival which made the on street parking a little messy at times. It was also freezing cold so we ended up taking a car most places but it appeared walking to many downtown places would have been nice if weather had permitted. The beds and linens were very nice. The only issue was that they had a problem with the downstairs bathroom that could not be corrected before our arrival. They notified us just before arrival and did compensate us for the inconvenience. We would definitely stay there again.
This property was by far the coolest I have ever stayed in. Very clean. It was in a great area close to the town of Fredrick. Beautifully decorated. Beds were comfy… great outdoor area… my only regret is I forgot to sign the guestbook!!
We had a lovely stay at your beautiful home while we dropped our daughter off for her first year at Hood College. It was the perfect location, quiet, clean, and beautifully decorated. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home!
The location was great- really convenient to downtown and close to the highways for all of our side trips. The house is impeccably decorated and has all of the amenities you need. There is often a lot of noise in these older row houses but not this one! We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the evenings. The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is safe to walk around.
This beautifully decorated home was perfect for a weekday family get together. Walking distance to downtown Frederick and plenty of room for 4 adults and our 8 month old granddaughter. We luckily had beautiful weather to enjoy the private outdoor space. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back when we’re in the Frederick area.
This was a lovely home in a great location. Quiet, well-stocked, and comfortable. We had an issue with the tv remote, and the host immediately responded with fresh batteries. I'd highly recommend this place.
One of our best rentals! Very attractive, great provisions, and comfortable to be in. We were able to connect with one of our children and her husband for the weekend. Enjoyed the battlefields, history of the city, and restaurants.
Very nicely decorated. Comfortable beds, nice towels and great little kitchen. All the extras were so nice … shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap in the bathrooms, dish detergent. Even a s’mores kit that maybe we can use next stay (unfortunately the rain kept us inside. Close to restaurants and downtown shopping. Perfect for the three of us. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay while visiting family:)
Highly recommend this listing for two couples or a family of 4. It was comfortable with easy access to downtown and outlying areas. We have been visiting Frederick for six years now and I have always been intrigued with the housing (row houses) in the downtown area. You can tell they offer a lot of history and if only the walls could talk. We enjoyed our stay.

The property is owned, designed and hosted by a husband and wife duo. We love giving people a unique experience, ensuring they have all the comforts that make a vacation memorable!
Why they chose this property
The home is the best of both worlds - in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and just a short walk from Market St. at the heart of Frederick's foodie and cultural scene.
What makes this property unique
We spent months carefully curating the design of the property. My husband, a creative director with a background in graphic design, got a chance to use his eye for color and style. I got to use my own amateur eye for design, love of literature and art to create a unique experience for our guests. Between the two, we have created an artful balance in this eclectic home. From s'more kits for every guest to a well-equipped kitchen, we pride ourselves on thinking of the details for your best experience.
