🚫 House Rules for Sheephorn Chalet:
- Maximum Occupancy: 6 guests max. Exceeding this will result in immediate eviction without refund.
- Parking: 2 vehicles allowed. Park in the designated driveway. No street parking. Illegally parked cars will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.
- Age Requirement: Must be 25+ to rent.
- Pets: No pets allowed. Violation will lead to eviction with no refund & a cleaning fee.
- Check-in/Check-out: Check-in after 4:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Late check-out requires prior approval & may incur extra fees.
- Trash: All trash must be taken to Clean Bear Sites:

- Quiet Hours: To respect our full-time neighbors, please keep noise levels down between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM

-Smoking & Vaping: Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere inside the property. A designated smoking area is available in the back—please use it responsibly and dispose of waste properly.
- No Parties/Events: Parties, weddings, gatherings, or events are prohibited.
- Fireworks/Open Fires: Prohibited at all times.
- Grill Use: Only use the propane grill. No charcoal, lighter fluid, or personal grills allowed.Propane can be refilled at the local DIY store.
- Damage: Guests are responsible for repair/replacement costs for any damage caused to the property or its contents.
- Liability: Guests assume all risks & liabilities for accidents or injuries while on the property.
- Refunds: No refunds for mechanical failures, electrical issues, or wildlife sightings. No refunds for circumstances beyond the host's control, including weather, road closures, or power outages.
- Acts of Nature: The property is in a remote, high-elevation location. Weather events may affect accessibility. No refunds for delays caused by weather or natural events.
- Power Outages: Power outages are common in Big Bear & may last for extended periods. No refunds for power outages.
- Snow Removal: Snow removal will occur once snow reaches 4 inches. Guests may need to shovel a parking spot during or prior to snow removal service.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house, with no shared spaces. The owners have a few small closets locked off in the hallways for supplies & personal items.
Other things to note
As per Big Bear Lake policy (not ours), you’ll need to agree to and sign the City of Big Bear Lake’s "Good Neighbor Policy" before gaining access to the house. We’re also required to verify your identification. This process is done electronically, but you also have the option to visit our check-in office if preferred.
