About this property

TWO CREEKS FARM

Beautiful farmhouse on 80 acres overlooking Big Green Lake. The home was completely remodeled in late 2010 to create a charming retreat. Out your back door, you are treated to 40 acres of private, rolling prairie connected to another 40 acres of woodlands. Hike in the summer or cross country ski in the winter. You have the property all to yourself.

Two spring-fed streams run through the property and in 2013, a two-acre pond was added. The deer, turkey and fox love them!

Features a stocked, two acre, catch-and-release fish pond and mile+ hiking trail. Teach your grandkids to fish!

Just down the hill and across the street, is a private dock on Big Green Lake that belongs to the property owners. The dock is a perfect place to launch your canoe, kayak or rowboat (the water is deep enough for an outboard engine).

3rd times a charm

This was our third visit to this property so clearly we like it. Plenty of acreage to explore and a nice pond, though fishing isn’t usually very productive. The house is well maintained indoors- the back deck could use debris removal and a power wash, but it’s nothing to curb our plans to return. Nice place to get away but close enough to the highway and nearby town so it’s not completely secluded.

Great place to relax

This is a great place to stay to get away from the big city but to be close to the action. My Uncle and his Uncle and I stayed here during the Oshkosh air show 2023. It was one of the last affordable places that I could find that looked comfortable and clean. As soon as you pull in the drive you feel right at home. We are all pilots and really enjoyed that this house sits on the Ripon approach to Oshkosh so we were able to enjoy all kinds of aircraft flying to the show. The house is very cozy and comfortable. The grill works awesome and so does the air conditioning which made my uncle happy. Overall it was a great property and we'd love to stay here again. Clean accommodations and quiet place to rest at the end of a long day. They have everything you need there, just show up and Enjoy.

More than what we expected

This house is tucked in a nicely country setting with all of the amenities of a home. Nicely decorated, spacious, a miles of hiking and a view to catch the sunset. We sat out on the patio and played boards game and enjoyed the fire pit with viewing the stars, deers and fire flies. We enjoyed our vacation.

Full moon summer weekend

Great house in a perfect location! The location is the ideal starting point for cycling around the lake - got the hills out of the way early on! We strolled, fished, hung out in hammocks, and had a perfect summer dinner on the lawn under the full moon. It was everything we hoped for - thanks for sharing this lovely house!

Stunningly beautiful home and property.

The accommodations were superb! One downside is proximity to highway A which is heavily traveled with truck traffic/downshifting. Also, the listing said overlooking Green Lake. It also implied their was easy access (maybe even a trail) to the dock as part of the property. The dock is only accessible by car. Also, the southeast corner of the lake (where the dock is located) is by far most similar to a swamp with weeds and algae galore. Not good for wading, swimming or boating. Perhaps these conditions are better earlier in the season but this is certainly not a lake home to any extent. That said, the walking trails, pond and sparkling creek were spectacular.

Green Lake

We loved all the land! It was so fun for the children to fish and hike! The central air conditioning worked well and the kitchen was fully stocked. The property is even better than it seems in the pictures.

Third time back at this fantastic property

We rented the house twice last year and went back for another break in June. The house has everything you need and the property is fantastic. There are two creeks on the property to explore and the fishing pond keeps the kids entertained for hours. In the town we can recommend Little Corporal for food and ice cream and Pierless boat rentals for renting boats and jet skis. Another great stay and we will be back for sure!

Wonderful for a weekend getaway

Hardly enough can be said how scenic and wonderfully maintained Two Creeks Farm is. The farmhouse has all the modern conveniences without losing its quaintness. The property has trails and a nice size pond along with a creek. Deer are plentiful and the property is just a few minutes away from downtown. The farmhouse is fairly close to the highway so it isn't total seclusion, but we weren't bothered by the traffic. Definitely recommend if you're visiting the Green Lake area.

Great Family Get Away

We had an amazing time staying. 2 adults, a 3-year old and a 10-month old. While the house isn't FULLY infant proof (we didn't expect it to be), they had a high chair and pack and play which made easier packing on our end. Our 3 year old loved the bunk beds and we just had a wonderful, relaxing time enjoying the property with some long walks, animal sightings (saw a family of ~15 turkeys) and general relaxation away from the Chicago land area. Would recommend to any family looking for a little retreat.

Amazing gateway in nature

We were looking for a place for a long weekend to get away from covid, social distancing, the city, work. To relax and recharge. The Two Creeks Farm did not disappoint. As we pulled in we were greeted by deers, later saw wood chucks, storks and even turkeys on morning walks along the beautiful winding path that takes you to your private fishing pond and convinces with views of fields and forest. Our 6 and 4 year old enjoyed playing and running around the plain in front of the house, observe toads in the pond, chase fireflies or dare each other to who can hold their toes into the cold creek water the longest. The house itself was perfect too. Everything you could possibly need is thought of and available. From board games, a small craft box, band aids, some books, a fishing pole, baby gear like a high chair and pack n play, some vhs and dvds, plenty of towels, little toiletries if you forget yours... the kitchen is also fully stocked from different glasses for different drinks, a brita filter, plenty of plates, bowls etc The rooms are as described and the air conditioning worked great on the hot days we were there. The hosts were very responsive whenever we reached out - not that we needed to because we really had all we need. The only thing we wish is for the house to have a simple table to enjoy breakfast outside. Location-wise: the house is a 8min drive away from the city of Green Lake where you can get a great breakfast, brunch, ice cream or dinner and go to the closest 'beach' for a swim. There are also a few shops to check out. We loved our stay so much that we decided to book again 2 weeks later for another long weekend.

Amazing stay! Amazing memories!

We had an amazing time in Green Lake and loved being able to stay at this awesome home! Nightly fishing at the pond followed by grilling and s’mores by the bonfire created an incredibly memorable experience. Plenty of room for 2 couples and probably more. We will be back!

Great old farmhouse

An old farmhouse,. updated, including central AC on a huge piece of property with a 10 minute walk to the pond out back, deer hopping through the meadows yet 8 minutes there is a variety of good restaurants in the city of Green Lake. Wisconsin rolling hills with lush vegetation everywhere. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen was functional and large and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. We'll be back.

Cozy home on beautiful acreage

We really enjoyed our stay at Two Creeks Farm. Inside the home was tastefully decorate with newer appliances and furniture. Outside gave us beautiful sunsets over the rolling hills and a peaceful place to relax. Best part for our kids was the pond which was only a short walk away. We will definitely be back again!

great house/property, incredible setting

Beautiful, clean, well maitained, modernized farm house; and you will not find a more beautiful setting - I took a 15-20 min walk along the trails of this property every day. It has a private pond, the 2 creeks, just gorgeous

A little piece of heaven (on earth!)

What a cute, clean, charming getaway. The owners are so nice and accommodating. There is so much to do at the property and in the surrounding community. The property has a nice fire pit for smores, a pond full stocked with fish, 2 creeks, and a path that goes around the 80-acre property. When we ventured out on that path, we saw groups of deer almost every time! Green Lake downtown is just a short 7-9 min drive away with restaurants, parks, ice cream shops. Highly recommend!

Cozy cottage in the heart of a lovely prairie

From the moment we pulled up the drive, we were enchanted: the prairie rolls away, inviting an exploration of flowers and fields, while the cozy patio, outfitted with Adirondack chairs, welcomes reading, relaxing, chats with friends. The home is quite spacious - we were 2 families, each a couple with one 3 year old (ish) kid, and it was definitely plenty of room for us. The kitchen is huge, and we were happy to make use of it and the outdoor grill: dinner of steaks with farm fresh salads, eggs and bacon for breakfast, even a fresh apple pie....... Wandering the fields we discovered grapevines laden with ripe concord grapes and plenty of flowering herbs, trees and grasses. A hawk circled overhead, and at sunset, 2 herons flew above, garbling together. The pond, just a short walk away, has frogs, and we found evidence of snakes too. One morning we woke to a fog blanketing the hills, the leaves just beginning to turn a rainbow of fall colors. The home is well located, easy to get to and accessible to lots of amenities. There are plenty of great grocery stores nearby, including one in Ripon that has a super range of produce, specialty foods, beer and wine. We didn't explore the town of Green Lake at all, but did jaunt in to Oshkosh for some great museums, and Ripon for a vintage car show (and local brewery). We packed a LOT in to our short stay and hope to come back again!

Great Stay in Green Lake

Our family of five adults enjoyed this charming renovated cottage sitting on 25 acres of land, complete with a catch and release fishing pond. We saw deer everyday and a turkey and grouse. It was so relaxing! The property is located on County Road A across from Green Lake. We were able to launch our boat a couple of minutes down the road at Sunset Park. It was truly a great vacation!
