About this property

The Historic St. Philip House - One Block Off King Street

**Daniel and I wanted to inform you of a new construction project that has recently started on the lot adjacent to our home. The construction will be active Monday-Friday and possibly on Saturday's. The starting time during the week is possibly as early as 7:00am. This is a two year project.

During the different stages of construction, you may or may not be able to hear noise from inside the home. We want to be very transparent with our guests.

We have been successfully hosting guests during the time of construction, but if you feel this will be an issue for your group then please do not book with us at this time.
Daniel and I will continue to go above and beyond to make your vacation an enjoyable experience.

Now...about the home....

Begin the day on the sunny patio sitting on a wicker sofa with a cup of coffee. Rich hardwood floors, exposed ceiling beams, and lowcountry decor conjure an air of stately charm within this historic home dating from 1840.

This 2500 square foot home has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable vacation to Charleston, SC. Guests will love the location as it is within walking distance to all of the best restaurants and touring destinations in the city!
The space
This large three story home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy. 2 King Beds are located on the second floor and there are 2 Queen beds on the third floor.

There is a full bathroom on each level.

The newly renovated kitchen comes equipped with a gas stove, stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, and additional wet bar with mini fridge and ice maker.

There is a nursery off of the master bedroom on the second floor. There is a changing pad and crib for your use. The nursery has doors so it is very private and quiet.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home and the spacious private backyard. There is parking behind a private gate for one small car. You can park up to two cars outside of the gate with passes provided by host.
Other things to note
We have owned this property for 24 years. Our family takes pride in our home and the Elliotborough/Cannonborough neighborhood. We have provided a welcome package highlighting fabulous restaurants, tours, and other exciting attractions- all within walking distance from the house!!

**We are an "instant book" property HOWEVER, we do not allow any large parties in our home. If you are having a small gathering, please just let us know the details and I'm sure it will not be a problem.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Nice house in a nice neighborhood in downtown Charleston. Owners were very communicative and helpful. Proactively let us know that construction was going on next door a month before check-in and gave us updates as it got closer to our stay and offered to let us cancel with no charge if the construction would be an issue for us. Luckily the loud construction finished before we got there but and that was not necessary. Very walkable area with pretty easy street parking. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Would stay there again or recommend to friends.

Great house and location!

Beautifully remodeled house with plenty of room for 7 women on our girls trip. Wonderful location close to King St. Walkable to restaurants, bars and shopping or an easy Uber. Note, the house is on 3 levels so there are a lot of stairs up to bedrooms. Host was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Loved the property / plenty of room

Excellent home. Much larger than you see from the outside. Had 5 people and saw other friends homes for wedding weekend that were cramped. Love the house.
