This was an awesome cabin that suited our trip perfectly. Very close to Watkins Glen and many nearby wineries. Also, an easy drive to several state parks and beautiful trails. If I return to the area, I'd stay here again.
The area and location is semi-secluded and close to the state park. The property is clean and well maintained. The outside furniture is unwelcoming and needs to be upgraded. The bedroom does not have heat so it gets alittle cold. Overall the place is nice but overpriced based on what is provided.
We had a fantastic stay! The cabin was great, modern and rustic, all the comforts of home. Loved having coffee on the 2nd story deck, sitting by the fire outside, and even watching TV when it was raining. A short drive to town, the race track, and wineries/breweries we visited. Great location for our dogs as well and so glad we were able to have them with us! Thank You!

The cabin was very nice and the area is beautiful. Very convenient location near shops and restaurants in town, and amazing hikes at the national park. We planned a bbq the first night but unfortunately the propane gas was empty. The host did respond quickly and brought a new one the next day. Also, there were 4 of us sharing only one bathroom, it would have been better if there was one more toilet. Overall it was a good place to stay and I would recommend it.
It's a perfect getaway just a short drive from the city. The house has all the amenities one would need. The property is beautiful and well kept.
My only feedback is to get something for the corners of the spiral staircase as it's not forgiving to tall folks.
We stay here for an event at Watkins Glenn International which is less than 8 minutes away. The location was peaceful and comfortable. The house is close to town and many local site seeing attractions. Everything we needed was provided to make our stay great. I highly recommend this home.
Our family had a great time staying at this location. It was an easy check in process and we enjoyed our surroundings. The location is minutes from the village of Watkins Glen which made it convenient but also provided us with a sense that we had an outdoor retreat!
Great woodsy place to stay while watching races at Watkins Gwen
We came up for a weekend to watch some races at Watkins. Glen and the place was perfect. Air conditioning work very well. Wi-Fi was great outdoor fire pit was nice to have definitely recommend.
An enjoyable, uniquely designed cabin with a secluded property that is great for dogs. Minutes away from Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake if hiking or boating are on the itinerary.
This place is amazing - secluded in the woods yet 5 minutes from town and the waterfalls of Watkins Glen! Beautiful house, spectacular inside and out. Spotless. Such a great place for a getaway, weekend or extended. We will most definitely come back here - it's that special!
Highly recommend!!! A++++++++++++
My husband and I got married in the Finger Lakes in 2017 and this was an anniversary trip.
Pros/cons to the property. I do agree with a recent reviewer that the property itself was not the cleanest. The fridge and floor were sticky. There was only a broom available, no vacuum, so we did our best to clean with that. In terms of the exterior, there is a light on the back of the house and a motion sensor light in the front, but it is not very bright, so I would strongly recommend bringing a flashlight, especially if you need to bring your dog out at night. It did get cold in the house but there are small space heaters that helped.
Pros - house provides linens/towels, space heaters, etc. We didn’t use the loft area at all, but it is a nice size if you have guests. Property is very private. Overall location is absolutely perfect. Very close to Watkins Glen State Park (you can see the waterfall as you’re driving into town), the Franklin Street strip has a ton of eateries and a nice brewery, and it’s a 20 min drive to some fantastic wineries along Seneca Lake!! I imagine this place would be even better in the summer time. Would stay again.
