El Camino

Property was awesome!! We actually had a great conversation with the owner while we were there. Royce made sure everything we needed was already there & let us know we could call anytime if we did need something. The deer were everywhere & we saw them every day and every evening. Would definitely stay here again!!!!

Need blinds in cabin especially in bed room

Nice place ! more cabin than luxury cabin however people were great that operated property. Needs some blinds in bedroom lacks privacy for location without them. Woke up the next morning to low water and shower drain and toilet backed up!! We could not shower or use restroom so we checked out early

Outside of Town Experience

Close enough to Fredricksburg, yet out of town far enough for the country feel we like. Nice location for our purpose— wild flower viewing. Windy so we did not get to enjoy the fire pit. We did have decent wi-fi and enjoyed Dish TV. Enjoy some old long play records was a fun blast from the past. We did not cook, but I would say you’d have what you need. Friendly host that helped us settle in and shared a bit of the history of the place. One day driving in we saw 60+ deer. Deer around the yard as well.

2/10 Terrible

Would not stay here again

Loved the host but property was more like glamping. It was a very hard drive which would have been worth it but the cabin is right next door to the host's house & the caretaker's home was right across the yard. There were two occupied mobile homes behind the cabin. Kitchen was tiny with no counter space or storage. Living room furniture was very uncomfortable. On the bright side, my dog had a great time running around the property
