Not as advertised

This property is not ready to be stayed in. There were multiple things missing that most Vrbo’s offer. There was no mirror in the bathroom, no hand soap in the bathroom and the towels are bleached stained. The bathroom was not clean and the front door had a gap at the bottom. The bed was listed as a king size bed, but it was not. The kitchen had very little available items to use. I was so unhappy I didn’t even stay the second night.

Unpleasant stay. Terrible customer service, cleanliness an issue.

I flew my son to Florida for his 13th birthday. Knowing we would not be present at our rental for much other than showering and sleeping, we decided to find a rental that was low-cost. This unit looks clean in the very edited and polished photos, however, it was not. Don't expect the owner to show you kindness or great customer service.Window unit does not heat properly, so for a winter in Florida, it was uncomfortably cold.It was advertised as being able to sleep someone on the pull out sofa. However, there were NO extra blankets or sheets to use the sofa and only one extra pillow in the dusty closet, which was unprotected. The bathroom had mold in the corners of the shower. I have photos to document. The kitchen sink was clean, the bathroom counter tops were clean, trash taken out and fridge was clean. You can tell someone came in and hit the high traffic, noticeable areas and left the rest! Floors had crap all over them. Dust bunnies, clumps of hair from someone's brush, random pieces of dirt. The floor turned my white socks brown from dirt, so we wore shoes the entire time. Baseboards were dusty and had grime caked upThe best part would be the roaches! I found a roach crawling on my son's toothbrush in his toiletry bag. Also found a roach in the kitchen. The owner did end up moving us to another unit, but he was rude, unfriendly and accused me of lying, saying he has videos of the unit being clean and that he pays for pest service. Customer service was abysmal.
