Short and sweet. I split the week between an extended family stay (cousins, in-laws, etc) and we had a great time.
I had the last few days with a staff of 9 here for a fun/work retreat. They all loved it.
The outside meeting area was especially awesome for afternoon and evening sessions to get some work done and enjoy the night!
Loved the property!! Location was great and was big enough for 4 families. House was beautiful and was very clean. We will be renting this cabin again!!
Nice place, a little over rated for the pricing. Hot tub did not work, lights on the deck never came on after contacting the owner about it. Ice maker did not work had to go and purchase ice from all the way up in the dark. Overall house beautiful but the game room is really just a pool table with one stick & ice hockey game that did not work.
Great property. Great property manager. After renting over 20-25 VRBO's, reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is, Ice maker did not work, hot tub did not warm up, pots & pans for a property this size is lacking, no dish wash rags or sponges to wash dishes, no pot holders or gloves. Its the little things that keep me from a 5 star rating. When you pay this much for a property I think you expect for the little things to be as good as the big things, not to have to go every day to buy ice or to make a trip to Walmart to but dish cloths and pot holders.
We had a wonderful stay! We came to celebrate my grandparents 65 anniversary! With 4 bedrooms being on the main floor and only a few steps to get into the door, was ideal for my grandparents. Ages ranged from 1-83. The pool was warm and even had toys for the kids to play. The showers also had hot running water. Also, they were step in showers which helped my grandparents! The owners were fast to respond to any questions. The best part was being way out in the mountains but only about 10 mins from all the activities! Would gladly stay here again!
We had a wedding here beginning of July. They had an opening when my other venue cancelled after a 9 month booking 5 days before my wedding. Sarah made sure I had everything I needed! They are the sweetest people ever! Amy and Ron also stopped by to check everything out and make sure we were okay. I will definitely come back here in the future. The cabin is large and very beautiful perfect for a large family!
Amenities were not what was expected, owner was rude when I reached out.
The main reason we picked this cabin is because of the amenities, we have young kids traveling with us and they were really excited about the (heated) pool, hot tub, fireplace, and air hockey table. We packed firewood and stuff for s’mores and the fireplace (website listed fireplace) was nothing more than a decorative light. It produced no heat and no flame.
We told the kids they could get in the hot tub as soon as wet got there and when we arrived the water was low, the cover was off, and the temperature was 45 degrees. We were there for 3 nights, a maintenance guy came late afternoon the 2nd night and told us not to get in for at least an hour because he added chemicals. My husband asked the maintenance guy to also check the chemical levels in the pool, he checked, there were no chemicals, so the maintenance guy added some and told is not to use the pool for a couple hours also.
The air hockey table had no pucks, pucks were dropped off on day 2, but table would not turn on and the maintenance guy said he didn’t know anything about the table.
I felt like I was on my phone exchanging text messages and figured a phone call would be easier. When I called Sarah was on the phone and quickly handed the phone over to her dad. He immediately said, “you’re just one of these people that no matter what I do you’re not going to be happy”. I was frustrated my kids were not able to do things I had promised. We paid over $1000/night, I wanted what was promised on the website.
