Relax on the river in this rustic log cabin, which includes a private hot tub on the screened-in porch. The rushing waters of the Little Pigeon River provide a peaceful ambiance during your stay. You can also snuggle up in front of the wood-burning fireplace, made of native stone, on those cool East Tennessee evenings. Wood is provided from October through February. A mix of antique and contemporary furnishings add to the rustic feel of this cabin. All the excitement of Downtown Gatlinburg is a short walk away; however, if you don't feel like walking, take advantage of the near by Trolley Service to Gatlinburg, or Pigeon Forge .

This cozy cabin, located in a quiet neighborhood, is the perfect romantic retreat for you and that special someone, or bring a group of family and friends to enjoy comfortable accommodations for up to 6 guests. A spiral staircase leads you to the two bedrooms upstairs, both of which contain ceiling fans and queen size beds. The bathroom on this floor is furnished with a granite countertop, tile floor, and a shower/tub combo. The main floor features a queen size bed in the antique log great-room with hardwood floors. In addition, this floor features a 32' flatscreen TV with cable/DVD/VCR, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table, full bathroom with shower/tub combo, and washer and dryer. The screened-in porch overlooking the river is also host to a ceiling fan, comfortable rocking chairs, and authentic barn-wood doors, which provide extra privacy. For you anglers, the stocked river is a guaranteed good-time for even the most novice of fisherman.

Happy Honeymoon

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is amazing. Location was perfect. The view and sound of the river made it the perfect in town get away. The hot tub on the screened in back porch was a great way to start and end the day. We really enjoyed sitting out by the river. We were visited multiple nights by some friendly geese. The house was very well kept and clean. We enjoyed looking at all the pictures and post card. Wish thwir had been a book of the history of the cabin. Loved the spiral steps, 2 full bathrooms, dishwash, and washer/dryer. It's only a 15 min walk to down town or there are multiple trolly stops near by. Loved how easy it was to get where we wanted to go. Loved all the supplies that were in the cabin too. Was nice to grill and be able to make a meal together. Would totally stay here again. Great job! Thanks for providing us with such a sweet place to honeymoon!

New Years in Gatlinburg

Really enjoyed staying at Granny's River Retreat. Nice location and only a 15 minute walk to all the action in downtown Gatlinburg. Located right on the river which is very relaxing listening to the water while sitting out on the deck or the chairs out by the water. The hot tub on the screened in deck is very nice which is clean and well maintained. The cabin has 3 queen size beds which makes it very comfortable for a family of 6 six. Has a wood burning fireplace which is available during the winter months. The spiral stair case is a nice touch. It is a little narrow but manageable. The cabin is well equipped with all the things you need to feel at home. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Very Cozy Cabin

This cabin was so cozy. We love how the livingroom is an old cabin with a wood burning fireplace. The hottub facing the creek was so relaxing.

Perfection on the river

This cabin was better than the listing described. It sits beside the river and you can enjoy the sound of water running from the porch or hot tub. It was exceptionally clean! The rooms are spacious and the location is right at the end of downtown. Would love to stay here again.

Nice area to walk!

Stay was nice and quiet. Upstairs is not user friendly due to the spiral staircase. Otherwise, very clean! Wonderful proximity to downtown. We enjoyed our stay.

Restful getaway

We loved staying in think cabin with our Boston. It's very charming and clean. You could not tell other pets had stayed. Close enough to walk up town and a quick drive to Pigeon Forge. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location and Very Clean

I am a clean freak and it is very rare that I am completely pleased with the cleanliness of a property, that’s something I’ve just come to accept. This place was extremely clean. Walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg and short drive to Pigeon Forge. My family enjoyed our stay!

Amazing!

My husband and I brought my Mother for the second time and she didn't want to be up in the mountains, so we chose this location. It was even better than described! It was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed in, and it was so close to everything!!! The river was ao relaxing and we spend a LOT of time just sitting and enjoying being there. The bed on the 1st floor was PERFECT as well. I highly recommend this cabin. We'll definitely be back. I do believe my 16yr old niece would have loved it too had she been with us.

Dog friendly, would never known dogs were there in the past. Super clean, no odors. Excellent location on creek. Walking distance to Gatlinburg trolley, or we could have walked to downtown. Super convenient location, easy to go back to the left to Pigeon Forge in 12 min as it’s not in a high traffic area and downtown Gatlinburg was to the right. Very hot outside, AC was great. Super pleased

Anniversary trip

Everything was immaculate upon our arrival. Pictures don’t do justice to this place. The view of the river is what makes this cozy cabin which was bigger than it looks. It rained a few days and it was wonderful just to sit and listen to the rain plus watch the river. Definitely will be staying again soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us and our two pups.

Relaxing!

Cabin was perfect for us! Morning coffee by the rushing stream with a Canada geese couple and their babies is a great way to start any day! We walked to the downtown very easily. You could see the care given by the little things done. The grass was freshly mowed and the pots of pansies and the iris were in bloom! We would certainly return to Granny’s riverside retreat!

Wonderful Place

Unexpectedly great cabin. Way better than expected. The brook and the setting was a joy. It was clean and just as you would want Granny’s place to be. Easy in and out and all the essentials. Didn’t use the hot tub but if you like that it is in the perfect place inside the screened porch. Great location near town but also secluded. Highly recommended.

Quaint and convenient

Easy walk to everything in town. The river sounds block out the noise from town. Well stocked with towels and cooking equipment. Clean hot tub and wonderful wood fireplace. I’d stay here again for sure.

Perfect Property!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! The view was beautiful and hearing the water run over the rocks was so peaceful. The hot tub was fantastic and perfect with the view. The cabin is so cozy and makes you feel at home. The beds are super comfortable which is so nice when you are staying for long periods of time. Having the fireplace was the best!

This was our second visit to this cabin and we love it. The Christmas decorations around this area made this trip another wonderful memory for the books. Cozy cabin and love the river in the backyard. Excellent spot to make some family memories.
