Welcome to our cozy, fully stocked 2BR/2BA apartment located in the heart of Jacksonville.

The perfect place to enjoy a comfortable stay while exploring all the amazing things our city has to offer. Short 15-min drive from downtown. Surrounded by plenty of dinning places. The best beaches within a 30-minute drive. You’ll be rich in opportunities to get out in the nature, with the proximity to the gorgeous natural springs. Only 40min from the Historic Downtown of St. Augustine.

5/5 Stars We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mariana's coastal retreat! We came to Jacksonville to see the Nicki Minaj concert. The space was perfectly suited for a nice getaway - spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Mariana was a fantastic host, promptly addressing a minor issue with the lock and ensuring our stay was seamless. The accommodations truly made our trip special. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend this lovely retreat to anyone looking for a relaxing coastal escape!

Apartment Rental

Had to wait an extra 45-60 minutes for check in due to bottom lock being locked. No biggie tho, the owner was apologetic. Once I checked in tho, several things were damaged-guest toilet, guest door and AC wasn’t cooling thoroughly. The rental is a bottom apartment and the upstairs family are loud and each step sounded like a huge stomp that would go on well past midnight. I messaged both the owner and VRBO with no reply from either.

AVOID - owner canceled on us 30 minutes before our stay

Believe the negative reviews.We drove 6 hours and 3 hours before our 3:00 check-in, we still didn't have check in instructions. We did have the email confirmation sent the day before but it said to contact the host for check in instructions. I messaged the host, no response for 2 hours. I called several times and she didn't pick up the phone. Finally Mariana texted me. I told her I needed instructions to check in at 3, she didn't know who I was. She proceeded to tell me that cleaning was running behind and my 3:00 check in is changing to 4:30. After some back and forth, she told me that 4:30 was my only option for check-in...take it or leave it. When she finally sent me the check in instructions, she had the wrong name so I questioned her to make sure someone else wasn't going to be at the property and she never responded. We agreed and came back to the property at 5:30. By chance, I logged into my email and saw that my reservation was canceled at 4:00 without my knowledge or any communication back to me. We looked at the unit and it was filthy...never cleaned! I tried to contact Mariana via text and phone several times and she would not respond. PLEASE do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This owner should not be allowed to rent properties to others.

Perfect Getaway

This place was perfect for our short trip to Jacksonville. The condo was clean, very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The host could not have been more accommodating. She was so nice and answered questions that we had very promptly. Highly recommend Coastal Retreat!

Perfect for our Family of Three!

Our experience with this property was top notch all around. The condo is even roomier in person than it looks in the pics. It was plenty spacious for two adults and a teenager. The property has been well maintained and cared for. It was super clean and comfortable. The host was responsive to questions, and was friendly. There were even extra items available for renters that were not mentioned as part of the listing. For example, a hair dryer, which happened to be a life saver, as I forgot mine. The furniture was also comfortable for relaxing and sleeping. We were impressed with this listing and will definitely book again when we are back in the area.

Cozy and clean

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is clean and spacious. It’s well decorated (as in the pictures but is bigger than how it looks on the pictures) and includes everything you need including toiletries, iron with ironing board and washer and dryer. I appreciate the coffee bar and modern and elegance Coffee machine and blender. It’s about 15 minutes away to UNF where we commuted daily to the summit we attended. I would stayed there again.

Bait and Switch

We booked the condo in this listing. We were given a different address when we got our checkin information. I did not realize it was different until the day after checkin. When we arrived the primary bed was unmade, sheets were wet in the dryer. I messaged the host and got no response. That was only the beginning. The ice maker in the fridge did not work and neither did the water. When I went to turn the water on in the primary shower, the handle flew off! I replaced it and turned the water on and the hot water was ok. There was hair in the drain which is gross. The next day when I wanted to shower, there was no hot water. When I stepped on the shower mat to turn the water on, it was soaking wet from whoever stayed there before us. GROSS! There was no wifi at all available. I messaged the host many times and got no response, I also left voicemails during this time. The second day we were there was very cold. We turned on the heat and there was no heat. It was freezing! Again no response to messages. Then I looked at the listing and realized this was not the place we had reserved. I contacted VRBO to complain. It took over an hour, got disconnected once, and finally got some help. The support people were very nice but it was a long process to prove we were in a different location than what we booked. I have asked for a full refund. I WOULD NEVER TRUST THIS HOST. If you see her name, book something else. You will not get what you reserved and you will be disappointed.
